Laminate flooring and underlay to be installed Hired JDM Flooring to lay laminate flooring in the living room and hallway. Initially was 30 minutes late but did let me know in plenty of time. On arrival did a walk through and advised me of any accessories I had missed which I was able to then pick up from b&q. Unfortunately wasn’t able to complete the same day as anticipated but came back a few days later to ensure the job was completed. The flooring has been laid and looks lovely, laid properly to a high standard. My only negative is that I asked for the tv aerial cable to be run under the floor from the port to where the tv is, I was assured this would be done but it wasn’t, which is frustrating as I now have to find another way to run the cable which won’t be as tidy. But overall happy with the work, would recommend.

Install of luxury vinyl flooring . Nothing but positive to say about Joel and JDM Floors. We spoke the same evening as I asked for a quote and he came out the next day at the time he said he would. Very friendly and professional when putting his quote together. Gave us an honest and fair price. He gave us a prompt start date/time and duration of job. I had actually under ordered some of my flooring for one of the rooms but Joel kindly changed his schedule for us to complete the job. We have been left with a great professional finish to our newly laid flooring. I Highly recommend Joel for your flooring needs and we will definitely use him again for future work.

Lay wooden flooring in new build house. Floor clear. Joel installed engineered oak flooring from Barhams. He did a good job, and the end result is impressive. He arrived when he said he would and completed in time. He then returned to fit the left over boards in another area and fit the necessary trims. I would readily use him again. Laminate or engeenireing floor installed in living room Joel did a very good job laying our floor. He was very professional and experienced and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in Cambridge that needs a flooring fitter.

Flooring installation This is my first negative review anywhere. This guy is incredibly unprofessional. Initially, he appeared to be decent, though a little careless and messy in his work, I appreciated him doing the job. However, this suddenly changed. He mis-assessed our flooring, which became apparent when the flooring wouldn't lay as intended. He tried to block the entrance to the room with furniture so that he could somehow make it seem right temporarily, get paid and get out without us noticing, but we indeed noticed. When politely confronted, he then became incredibly aggressive to the extent that we had to report him to the police.  I am happy for mybuilder to share evidence of his threats. I agreed to every request he made to increase the quote and I even pointed out concerns with the flooring which he just dismissed. We are now left with flooring that has to come up costing me £100s in damage and a further cost of getting someone to do it again. I wouldn't recommend. (Updated on 25 Dec 2021) Answer from tradesperson: Lies lies , this man set me up to fail from the beginning by pilling all the furniture on the problematic areas plus loads more stuff in a small room which made it really hard for me to assess the subfloor in a very small room only moving them right before the end of the job which by then was to late to put right as i had to undo most of the flooring and it being lvt most of the planks would be damaged if undone .I moved the furniture that blocked the door because i had to change a plank that had a defect or he damaged it buy dragging stuff . How can this man speak with so much certainty of what i was doing if he was not even in the property , he relied on on an elderly family member to constantly take pictures over my shoulder and also keep watching me and point at everything i did . I did say to him that we could put it right with smoothing compound which he said ok. but by then i had lost trust in these people so i said i would do it bu

Laminate flooring need installation in the living room Lovely guy! Came round to quote and told us the best underlay to get. He was just so helpful and well trusted! I had to leave the house on numerous occasions (school run ect) and I could trust him in the house on his own. He also git a big job done on the day! He's put the flooring down PERFECTLY! Looking for someone to lay laminate in 2 rooms ASAP Joel laid flooring in 3 of our rooms. He quoted a reasonable price, arrived when he said he would (in fact I had messed him around a bit as flooring did not arrive on time and so he agreed new date). He got the job done quickly, to a good quality and was professional. He worked well alongside other workmen. If you want someone who just arrives and gets the job done without any fuss then I would recommend Joel. I will be using him in future
