Jason was very thorough, he understood the building and the damp issues I had. He made solid recommendations in rectifying the problems, and was open to answering many questions I had. He emailed his report to me in the evening of the day he attended. Professional detailed Report with photos. Nice guy and I would recommend him for an Independent Damp Survey.

Professional and thorough inspection. Jason explained the issues and answered all my questions. The report included several recommendations and a breakdown of expected costs.

I would highly recommend Jason for independent damp surveying, particularly for anyone who has an old property. Jason understands Victorian houses and his recommendations are in keeping with the way old houses need to be maintained. Jason was happy to discuss issues and answer questions while he was doing the survey, and overall his survey was very helpful. He identified a couple of things I was not aware of and confirmed what I already thought about some issues I was aware of. It was definitely worth taking up some floorboards before Jason arrived so that he could assess the subfloor timbers and ventilation.

Having noticed recent shading of wooden furniture in our reception room, we called in specialist, JPM Independent Surveyors. Jason attended our home, carried out a damp investigation, and could find no evidence of rot or woodworm anywhere in the property. He did however identify issues of condensation and those for moisture ingress and we will follow some recommendations not least as we recognize their implementation will confer all-round health benefits. We think of Jason as the ultra professional: we found him to be authentic, approachable, and able to dispel our misunderstanding and bring us reassurance and peace of mind. He conveys an energy, focus, clarity and insight to the task, making his response on point and workable, and so quietly taking charge of the issue, reducing it for manageable and cost-effective solution. The initial problem has become a blessing. This survey, conducted by Jason, has proved to be an excellent investment; we cannot recommend him highly enough.
