Just a little warning to avoid Lewis Young who is targeting the community offering painting and decorating services under his company name L&A decorators based in Sutton. I stupidly paid him a deposit and he didn’t show up to work and now he has blocked my communication as I threatened legal proceedings! I gave him the benefit of doubt when he said he wasnt well and needed some time. I waited over a month! He will take your money and not show up!
Didn't pick call on the agreed date and didn't show up until evening, outsourced work to an inexperienced guy who came late in the evening out of non-business hours and instead of doing a decent job caused damage to property ( the floor) . He left the job half done and making it even worse by the third party furthermore took 80% of the total cost in advance and behaviour was very unprofessional and unacceptable and also blocked me when raised valid questions on when he is going to finish the task. Left job half done!
If I could give no stars I would! DO NOT USE THIS MAN. After taking over £2k of my money and showing up for about 2 days worth of work, he has £1.7k off me. He never returned to work despite multiple attempts at contacting him. He admitted he owed me a refund and then failed to send it. It has now been months and I have been left with no money and an incomplete job. This man is the low of the low. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
