About
Hi I'm Dan, I am a stonemason based in the Cardigan area. I have been working in Conservation and stonemasonry for the past 13 years. My journey into stonemasry began whilst working on the conservation of Cardigan castle. I have nqv level 3 gold card in heritage stonemasonry. I have extensive knowledge of the use and benefits of lime mortars NHLs and quicklime mortars. Over the years I have worked on many public and private buildings such as the conservation of the clerestry shafts at Llandaff cathedral, conservation of the church towers at Gumfreston and St Florence and the conservation of Pembroke town walls plus many more. I specialise in stone walling, lime pointing, limewashing,plastering and doff cleaning. I look forward to hopefully working with you on your project Cheers Dan
