Installation of security cameras linked to TV system cleanly and efficiently carried. No issues arisen since. I did receive an invoice at the time but have since disposed of it. Would recommend Lucas electronics and have done so to others who have also been pleased with the service.
I contacted Steve because while BT was putting in a new telephone wire the engineer must have put a nail through the TV aerial cable and the channels were pixelated and some of them missing. On the day we arranged Steve called to tell me his ETA, and when he arrived took his shoes off, which impressed me because he was in and out of the house so many times. He tested the signal and could see immediately how weak it was. He said it needed a new cable. I agreed to it. It was a very very hot day and I was surprised ( and grateful) that he was still prepared to go up on the roof and do the job. He worked quickly and efficiently, finishing off the holes he'd needed to drill professionally. At the end of the job, he retuned the TV for me because I was having difficulty with it. I would definitely recommend Steve to family and friends, very happy to have found him.
Steve removed and installed three TVs with soundbar, dvd etc in three rooms. He arrived on time and was super efficient, pleasant and really helpful. He went beyond the call of duty in lifting and shifting things around too (which many tradesmen would not have done). A very professional job and would 100% recommend.
Telephoned Steve after finding him via Which? Trusted Traders. We explained that we needed a new TV aerial, to be fitted on the roof, and connected to a new FreeView box. He came the following day as promised, and on time, and completed the work remarkably quickly and efficiently. He even took the time to figure out why the HDMI connections were not working correctly - something the people who sold us the TV (a well known High Street company) were unable to do. Very friendly too - next time we need any TV or audio work, he will definitely be our first port of call.
Having no idea where to find a reputable company to sort out my reception issue I looked on the internet and, thankfully, found Lucas Electronics on the Which? website. Steve Lucas carried out signal tests on all four TVs and tested the amplifier then traced all the cables. Altogether he spent one and a half hours investigating the problem and having located several issues he carried out the necessary rectifications and then to my surprise informed me that there was no need to change aerial or the amplifier! The cost? A simple, reasonable callout charge. I can only say that in this economic climate it was great to find someone who wasn't hellbent on ripping me off. I wholeheartedly recommend this gentleman.
