M.A plastering

Stripping wallpaper and plastering. Not once was he on time, he said he would be here between 8 and 9 on a couple of days, he never showed up until the afternoon. I had to keep calling to find out when he would be at my home. After the first day the work was so bad that I told him not to come back. He said he still wanted £180. A plaster that had come out the night before who was a lot more expensive than Mark said the work that Mark had done was only worth £50. I was not willing to pay the £180 so said that if he turned up at a reasonable time and covered my carpets and wore a face mask he could continue, He never covered the carpets with plastic. He has stained all of the carpet. He never finished the plastering to the edges of the door frames, he had someone painting the walls before the plastering was finished. He wanted £500 after a few days. He then called the night before he was due to do more plastering asking for the second lot of money. I have had 4 other plasterers in and they said that Mark's work was not professional. I have had to pay out to have it done again. They have all said that I should have a full refund of the £500. I have asked Mark for at least some of this amount back, he refuses to do so. Mark only half completed the downstairs and for this he was in and out for just over 3 weeks. The most stressful time of my life. I would not recommend Mark even for the smallest of plastering or decorating jobs. We have taken lots of photos for proof of how bad the work is.

Skim coat 2 ceilings and 8 walls Mark and Co. were very polite, quick and did an awesome job.

Plastering/rendering in preparation for redecoration Mark was a good worker. He delivered to a high specification on a suite of small but complex plastering issues - very pleased with the final outcome. He was amicable, accommodating and his rates are fair.
