Repairs to Grade II listed house John and his team have worked hard on the repairs to our Grade II property. John is always communicative, offering solutions to problems where ever possible and ensures that all work is in-keeping with the style of the property.

Repair water damaged floors John was initially contracted to repair water damaged floors. To be fair, his workers were pleasant, efficient and tidy, although the job took twice as long as estimated. Further damage was found and John agreed to renovate two bathrooms. One had a ‘temporary’ repair and the other was reduced to rubble. Without any notice, John failed to appear the next working day and did not reply to dozens of phone, text and email messages, leaving me guessing as to his intentions and forcing me to get a new contractor, with inevitable delay and cost. The wrecked bathroom had to be cleared of rubble and dust; the tiling work that he had done had to be stripped out and re-done; the shower screen had been re-installed inside-out, meaning that the water flowed onto the floor and he had managed to drop a tile onto a brand new shower tray, damaging it. I would not recommend John for anything but the most simple jobs and then under close supervision.

Demolish & Clear My job was a huge demotion of a former carpentry work shop building in a tricky location surrounded by closed residential houses. John Roberts and his colleagues at Magna property service did a fantastic job and completed the work cleanly well a head of schedule. They were highly professional, courteous and very approachable for the duration of the work. I was given updates at all stages. I highly recommend them and no doubt will use their services again. If you require a demolition job then look no further (Updated on 12 Mar 2021)

Repair fascias Prompt time and highly professional. Reasonably priced. Knows their trade and has the rights tools to get the job done. Will definitely hire again.

Solid oak shelf hanging Superb job - came to do a quote and offered to do the job there and then. Friendly, professional guys, did a great job, tidied up afterwards, and observed COVID guidelines while at it. Very pleased, would recommend and use again.

Re-grout balcony John and Steve did a first class job of regrouting my balcony. I would definitely recommend them. Five star rating.

Regrouting kitchen tiles John Was very responsive and provided a fair quote for the work. He turned up on time , was very polite and tidy and completed the work as expected to a good standard. We would use John again and recommend his services.

Brickrepointing John identified the problem quickly and his workers were able to come soon. Everybody very nice and polite and I would highly recommend this company.

Assembly of wardrobe and bed (new flatpack furniture) Very friendly and super accomodating for timing, etc. The gents assembled the bed frame in no time. Very tidy and organized. Would use anytime again!

Install new kitchen. Not a big kitchen Stay away from this crook !! This guy has damaged our £8000 kitchen . He continued doing it without admitting or putting his hands up that he cant. We trusted him and left him do his work. When the work top people came , they notified us of the damages he had done. The whole kitchen was fitted incorrectly, all the units were cut wrong. All the boards are almost chipped and damaged. We had to call a new kitchen fitter, who said, the whole kitchen is messed up. All the panels and units have been cut incorrectly . Basically all the kitchen is wrong and not properly done. Stay away from this guy if you really want to save your property . Answer from tradesperson: as i have said over the phone i was not aware of the damage that was coursed by my company but i have made it very clear i am fully insured and willing to put rights what was wrong but due to the current climate i am unable to attend your second home like your self your not allowed to travel to second homes or carry out non essential travel. being a dentist yourself you would no its braking the law if we do so there is nothing i can do to replace the broken parts that are damaged till the country is removed of lock down my hands are tied i feel abusing me online for stuff which is out of my control if i was not forced in to isolation my company could of solved the situation and finished the work and not left it unfinished but this was out of our control. Install new kitchen sink and work top John arrived punctually, is a perfectionist, positive and able to find creative solutions to challenges. The work is still in progress and I will review further on completion coming Tuesday.

Partial loft boarding John arrived early. Got on with job, very clean and tidy. We are really pleased with the work he has completed. Friendly and efficient, would highly recommend.

Put up 2 velux blinds John Roberts, well what can i say ... This guy is brilliant. his response to my post was very quick and he fitted me in for following day, and arrived early, which was even better for me. job done in no time at all. very clean, very tidy, friendly guy that is so well trained his boots came off as soon as he entered property. i for one will not only use this guy again , i will also recommend him to anyone needing jobs done.. many thanks, Shelli
