Answer from tradesperson:

Paint exterior of house and windows These guy's painted the outside of my house. I noticed they were using Dulux paint but it was not exterior. I asked them about this and they said not to worry they had mixed PVA in with it which I wasnt happy about. They did not rub any window frames down, just stained onto of the flaking paint so I had to complain about that. They rubbed it down again but should gave done it at first. They got paint all over the stone work on the house and said they couldn't get it off and it would weather. Total amatures. Waste of £1,200. Answer from tradesperson: Firstly, as i said we've used PVA mixed in water to clean the walls before applying the paint ,wich are water-based paint water-based paints are the best option for exterior surfaces as they are more reliable and versatile in external environments. For example, some of the benefits that these paints can provide include Weather Resistance Humidity Resistance Rapid Temperature Changes Quick to Dry Easy to Apply to Masonry and Other Surfaces And never mixed PVA with the paint.!!!! Secondly, when we've finished you said that everything looks fine and you are happy with it , and you asked if we can do some inside job as well.
