Markham Plastering

This is the 2nd time we've had Ashley come and work in our house, and he was just as great as last time. He's transformed 3 rooms in 1 week (it's a big renovation!) and we're already discussing the quote for the next room. He's a lovely guy to deal with, does great work, and his prices are very reasonable. I'd recommend him for any job.

Ashley provided a competitive quote quickly after our initial inquiry to plaster a bedroom. He finished the job to a high standard, quicker than expected. And left the room in a tidy state. Ashley stripped and skimmed the walls in my living room, hall and bedroom. He was extremely professional and trustworthy. He provided his quote in a timely manner and he finished the work on schedule. His communication style was very personable and his timekeeping was excellent. There was an issue with the ceiling but he managed to sort it out without too much mess and still managed to finish on time. I would use him again and would definitely recommend him.

Ashley skimmed our living room, office and parts of the bathroom and kitchen. This also involved some more difficult work replacing parts of the ceiling and strengthening the walls. Ashley did all this to a very high quality and was also tidy. Despite us changing the job, Ashley was still on time and kept within budget (which was a highly competitive price). He was incredibly professional and did the job with minimal disruption to us when we were working from home. He is easy to talk to and ask questions of and he is trustworthy, showing utmost respect to our home.

Ashley was extremely polite and professional in all his work, he was very punctual, very neat and tidy cleaning up at the end of each day. Ashley was very accommodating on our project, where we didn't really know the extent of the work necessary and he helped and guided us through the work. I would personally recommend Ashley to carry out all these types of works, he provided a detailed quotation and schedule of works and kept to it. We are really pleased with the quality and standard of the work that Ashley carried out.

Ash did some plastering work on 2 walls and ceiling indoors, and silicone wall render on the front of our house. The exterior render was done because a previous builder let us down and didn't return my calls anymore (KDA plastering). Ash was very professional and turned up on time and finished the job within quoted time as well. The end result was great and Ash is a really nice bloke to deal with. Would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done.

Ashley started work for us during the heatwave in mid-July. I was expecting him to postpone the work, as it was 40oC, but he still turned up punctually and completed it on time, always smiling and positive and never once complained about the heat. He had to plaster/skim the whole of my dining room and kitchen extension, which were in a poor state. He was very professional and kept the areas he worked tidy and clean. It was interesting to watch him work on stilts when plastering the high ceiling in the extension. He worked to a high standard and I now have silky smooth plastered ceilings and walls. It has completely transformed my tired and cracked dining room and extension to a beautiful space. He is competitively priced and reliable. I would definitely use him again and would recommend to anyone.

We've had two rooms of our flat done by Markham Plastering so far. Always a good experience. Attentive and responsive when asking about new jobs, good prices for good work and gets the job done on time to a high standard. Highly recommended! We'll be using Markham plastering for the rest of the renovation for sure if he'll have us!
