About Mel Massey Studio

Mel Massey has been running Mel Massey Studio from her Finsbury Park base, for over a decade. Working on projects for residential and commercial clients plus BBC1’s favourite, ‘DIY SOS’, everything starts with one piece of inspiration gleaned from the client. This could be a family heirloom, a favourite colour, a piece of art or even a flower blossom. Inspiration knows no bounds. With this unique starting point, we develop a considered interior based on clients’ dreams and aspirations, not forgetting the practical. By weaving vintage, repurposed and new with interesting materials and distinctive textures, each project is totally unique. We have no prescribed design formula. Our work with our clients is supremely collaborative, with our job to encourage them out of their comfort zone to embrace concepts that they may never have considered. And our results speak for themselves – we are so proud of our reviews.
