Bedroom, landing and 2 stairways to be painted Absolutely shocking!!!!! Mike turned up and gave us an estimate. We talked about me purchasing the paint and how long the work would take. Then after sorting out a start date, and booking an entire week off of work (which isn't the easiest thing to do believe me) I purchased all paints and then awaited the big day. I contacted Mike on this site to confirm..... nothing.....so I text......nothing....so I what's apped.......he read it.....nothing. This went on for 4 days, me messaging etc and Mike ignoring me (not even a lie, pretend to be sick, double booked, anything!). I'm the end absolutely nothing. SO I've spent a load of money on paint, had a week off work for nothing. An absolute joke, I can't find the words to describe what a waste of time and money it has been. Do yourself a favor and save both and avoid Mike, find a reputable decorator instead. Or at least one who doesn't ghost his customers. Thanks for absolutely nothing!! Disgrace (Updated on 1 Jul 2023) Answer from tradesperson: I believe this to be incorrect we both agreed a start date. The week before I was due to start I was on a family holiday. Dave messaged me I responded to him twice. I never got such a reply. As I was awaiting his response and I never got one I dint know if i was starting the job. I then got a message saying don't bother i have someone else. He then posted this negative feedback when I then sent him a screenshot of my texts with dates and times to him showing my response he tried to call me which I missed. I immediately tried to call him back which was never picked up. I think it was a case of both parties getting the wrong end of the stick he assumed I was ignoring him (I wasn't I sent texts back and showed him) I assumed he had found someone else. Redecoration of small hall, stairs, landing and lounge Pleased with the finished achieved and the way the works were undertaken. I would recommend Mike for similar works if asked in the future.
