Floor Nick has done an excellent job and is a very kind and friendly person. He is easy to communicate with, always responds to calls and messages and arrives on time, someone you can rely on and trust. I would definitely recommend Nick and would undoubtedly hire him again.
Fixing Wardrobe sliding doors Absolutely lovely young man, did the job with great care and very reasonably price. I would definitely recommend him and will use him again.
Multiple carpentry works in house Nick’s workmanship, work ethic, honesty in quoting and general approach and attitude is excellent. Scope: x2 built in wardrobes, new handrail, new landing bannisters, several general carpentry jobs (eg, airing cupboard shelving slats, adjusting holes in kitchen cupboards to access pipes & gas meter) From his first contact and visiting us to discuss the works, to his initial estimate followed by detailed quote, and then into the work itself he was utterly professional, highly courteous and very accommodating of our needs and the short timescale we had available. Nick presented proposed materials and intentions of approach to the works to us before works commenced, enabling us to make some changes. He arrived on time everyday, worked non-stop all day (only taking 15minutes for lunch!), cleaned up after himself every day and remained cheerful throughout the job despite my wife and I also working in the house in his way and needing to use the bedrooms he was working in every night, which meant he couldn’t leave his tools out at night. We completely trusted Nick such that we left a key with him to finish the works over a weekend whilst we were away and he again completed the job and cleaned up impeccably in our absence. During the job I asked Nick to add a few extra items on to the scope (at our cost obviously), which he readily accommodated. Nick is definitely now my carpenter of choice if I need any more works in the future and I highly recommend him.

My name is Nick Thomas, and I am a fully qualified carpenter, joiner and boatbuilder with 15 years experience. I also have plenty of experience in interior and exterior carpentry, shop fitting and decorating. In my spare time, I build surf boards and paddle boards.
