Outbuilding conversion Use at your peril. Took £9,500 never to be seen again and what little work they did do was wrong, for example, put floor insulation UNDERNEATH hardcore, fitted wrong sized fence panels, supporting lintel was sat on expanding foam, inadequate support to new roof, didn't put any backing board behind PVC facia...the list goes on. Absolute cowboys - promised the job would be done in 2 weeks and it's now 7 weeks and left me with a little girl with no kitchen! Even when they did turn up I was lucky to get 3 hours out of them. Answer from tradesperson: This is absolute rubbish and being dealt with through court. The job was 75 percent completed, money requested and spent was for materials which were delivered to site. You should not disappear on holiday 2 weeks into a full renovation project and refuse to leave us access and then cancel parts of work already started because you weren't able to cover to cost- This review will be removed once court process completed Reply created 5 Dec 2025

Toilet replacements

Electric shower replacement Ben took out my old shower and fitted my new one. The job threw up a few problems but I'm pleased to say Ben gave me solutions that work not excuses. Impressed with his work and going the extra mile - picking up the shower from family, going into my home while away and doing the while job while I was still on holiday. Would recommend this company antime

Leak coming through kitchen ceiling! Fantastic job, very helpful, friendly and professional. I will be using their services again for my new bathroom!

External Soil pipe needs removal (Asbestos), and replacement Ben and his two friendly and respectful colleagues completed the job - it was a removal and replacement of a shared soil pipe. Couldn't be happier with the work and feel confident to ping and recommend them if we ever need future jobs or if anything occurs once this work settles. 10/10

Wooden gate Great service Job well done

Membrane required. Got a message from Ben, I explained what my garden issue was, he asked for a photo which I sent, he replied we can fix that and possibly this afternoon. I was happy to accept his estimate and less than two hours later he was on site. The job was completed to my satisfaction in about an hour and a half, it looks great and has resolved the problem. If your looking for a quick, reliable and affordable company I highly recommend these guys.

New PVC ceiling panels fitted to bathroom ceiling Did an okay job fitting bathroom ceiling panels. However, they fitted only 3 brackets out of the 5 brackets that came with the new blinds for living room. As a result of this, the 3 brackets were not able to support the full weight of the blinds and it fell down. From observation, they spent some time laughing during the job and couldn't be bothered to fit all 5 brackets. Had to hire again to get the job done properly! (Updated on 15 Aug 2025)

Heating solution for retail premises Nuneaton Ropewalk Whilst the service was prompt and somewhat well communicated - the end result has left us with a heating solution that is not fit for purpose. Following the install the we found the heaters were being tripped constantly after a short amount of time. I contacted Ben, who informed me of some additional works that needed to be carried out - but assured me this would fix all the issues. As such we paid an additional sum for this to be undertaken. Alas, the problem was not resolved. Further contact ensued, Ben told me he'd be out - but failed to turn up again. Having to now pay for the 3rd time to have the works carried out properly. If it's electrical work you need - I'd probably contact someone else. (Updated on 28 May 2024) Answer from tradesperson: The problem was cause by overloaded circuits as discussed with you by our electrician on numerous occasions . The breakers were updated to cure the problem but the supply was still being overused. Your staff had at least 4 additional high powered heaters through a series of extension leads turned on at all times in the shop .. with the power used by the 3 over door heaters which we installed the circuit was being over used hence the tripping of the main fuse … we did advise the staff not to misuse the circuit but it continued . We tried every possibility to cure the problem . Apologies we could not Reply created 28 May 2024

New glass panels on a shower unit These guys got back to me really fast about getting an emergency shower panel fixed. Had some issues with life isses during the week but they kept updated at every turn and got the work done in a few hours. I can not recommend these guys enough. They won't rip you off and are lovely to talk too! Will definitely use them again for bathroom needs.

Replace shed roofing felt The work was carried out promptly and satisfactorily.

Construct a level base for log cabin Ben on first meeting seemed a knowledgable and confident chap, however when it came to the job he had stated it would take 4 days, on the first day he turned up at 11am and left at 2.30 pm this trend carried on for the four days not once did they do a full day. They were a poor work crew, untidy, messy, using our garden tools with asking if it was ok, this caused my wife quite some stress, I could go. Needles to say I won’t use them again, make your own mind up but sorry can’t give them a good review, not like me.. Answer from tradesperson: This review seems a little bit unfair Colin but will take it on board .. the job was a messy one .. excavating a lot of soil , moving up and down steps etc, to and from skips , mixing concrete and excavating tarmac. The site was left tidy as we found it each evening, on completion of the job everything was washed down and left clean and tidy as we found it . We started after 10 each day which was your request. We finished the days as the work planned out and finished with the time frame agreed and for the price agreed .. we even knocked a bit off when you said you weren’t happy about the short days !!!!! Apologies we used your sweeping brush it was mistaken for ours as the same .. I really was not aware it was an issue and was not mentioned … you were happy with all the work as were we so this review seems a little unfair but such is life . Install replacement electric shower and cubicle/tray One Stop Emergency Shop is a first class outfit. The job was completed ahead of schedule, with care, precision and industriousness. Many thanks to the dynamic trio of Ben, Lewis and Chad. I highly recommend them, especially with such a broad skill set and unwillingness to leave a mess behind. That is rare. My appreciation and gratitude for a job VERY well done.

Re-felt summerhouse roof The guys were willing to come out on a wet dark evening to repair my summerhouse roof. They let me know when they were on their way over, and kept me updated when they were delayed. They did a good job, for a good price.
