"It is hard to find a good lime plasterer and I had been looking a while. Peter understands pre-1900 buildings (this is surprisingly rare in my experience) and did an absolutely beautiful job. He is also very reliable and responds quickly to messages (I booked in the job a couple of months in advance and he started just a few days after he originally estimated - this is also rare). I would very strongly recommend him to anyone with a pre-1900 house, especially if (like me) they have a damp problem caused by previous owners' inappropriate use of modern building materials."
