Very polite and amiable guys and even though the weather increased the timescale they just got on with it without even talking about an increase in cost due to an additional day. Primed them for another job in spring. Thanks guys"

Steve (p17 interiors) seemed like a good guy and consequently won the work at my house for this reason. The job took three times longer than quoted, some work wasn’t done as he didn’t find it necessary even though it was quoted. I paid him the full amount on the basis that he would return to rectify but he never did. Kept making excuses and has not offered a refund to any value. An unfortunate lesson learnt for the wife and I.
