We asked Ben to do some structural work in our full house renovation including: - removing a load bearing wall - removing a load bearing chimney - timber treatment - creating an under the stairs toilet - damp proofing the downstairs of the property - levelling the ceilings - plaster-boarding and plastering We cannot speak highly enough of Ben for the work that he and his guys did. Ben was exceptional at communicating, always friendly, approachable and really tidy. Even when (as is the way with a full renovation!) it wasn’t always good news, Ben always communicated clearly, offered solutions and quoted quickly. He was knowledgeable, competitively priced and it was such a pleasure to work with him.

Ben converted an outbuilding into a functioning utility/ bathroom at the back of the house. Ben's quote was clear and reasonable and he was very communicative and clear when looking at options, really listening to our requirements. Ben was happy for us to go and see examples of his previous work which we took to be a very good sign. Ben and team were lovely to have around the house, cheerful, tidy, considerate and good at talking us through any issues or changes as they arose. We were very pleased with the finished work all of which has stood the test of time. We would, and have, recommended Ben to friends and family.

Ben listened carefully to our requirements before planning our utility extension. He and his team carried out the work to a high standard, and, at the end of each day on site, the area was left safe and immaculately clean. His communication throughout the project was clear and timely, and any delays / changes etc were always relayed to us, so we knew exactly how the build was progressing. Now, we do not know how we coped without this valuable space! Storage / laundry / dog grooming space, but with everything out of sight, we are so pleased with our multi-purpose utility. Thanks.

Very organised builder/project manager with good work ethic

Ben has been a wonderful tradesman for us and our house over the past few years! We originally contracted him to damp proof our cellar, but as well as that, Ben has opened up our blocked up Edwardian fireplaces, rebuilt an internal wall and installed a pocket door in the living room, and fitted our new kitchen for us. Even stepped in to help get some of the final stages of our kitchen extension completed, when the original builders let us down. He never fails to be punctual, has always left our property clean and tidy after completing, and has always been happy to answer our daft questions and provide us with sound advice. We have trusted Ben from our first meeting, and been so, so pleased with every single job Ben has undertaken for us, and would gladly have him back for any job he would be able to do for us!

Myself and my partner undertook a large house renovation which has taken over 12 months to complete. We've worked with numerous trades people and I have to say that Ben was without a doubt one of the best and easiest to work with. We tasked Ben with a garage conversion into a habitable space. The project didn't quite go to timeline, but at no fault of Ben's. From start to finish Ben was polite, accomodating, knowledgeable and took the stress away from us by project managing this part of our renovations. Ben came and went as required and completed the work in stages, liaising with building control from initial site visit through to sign off and the certificate being issued. He arranged additional trades were required and kept us up to date with photos. We added some extra jobs to the list which Ben quoted competitively for and completed to a very high standard.
