I am a landlord and have several properties. Pettifer Plumbing and Heating have assisted me for the last 5 years or so with plumbing and boilers installations and safety certificates. They are trustworthy, competent, polite and I have every confidence in their professionalism and reliability and would not hesitate to recommend them to others to undertake such work.

New boiler at my Home, Richard and his team did a great job and was blown away by how professional they were. Would recommend to anyone and everyone this company is the best.

Pettifer Plumbing and Heating have completed a few jobs for me including changing the main stop valve, moving some pipes and helped fit a sink. They turn up on time and within the window frame they give me. They also keep the place tidy and are good value for money. A great team and happy with the workmanship. Would recommend to others and have done previously.

I have used this company for many years following a personal recommendation. Richard and his team have regularly serviced my boiler, my old one and more recently a new one, which they also installed. Unfortunately, this had to have a new expansion vessel which Richard arranged to be done under warranty by a Bosch engineer in January this year. On another occasion, at our request, they replaced our thermostatic radiator valves. Richard is very knowledgeable and a tidy and efficient worker. In terms of making appointments and invoicing, this company is reliable, organised and very pleasant to deal with.

Richard arrived promptly and did a good job for a reasonable cost. He was very polite and I would be happy to use Pettifer Plumbing again.

Richard was the politest and most understanding individual ever to come into my home to complete a job, it was a really rainy day and he wore boot covers without even being asked because I have nice new carpets I got laid less then a month prior to him coming. My boiler is really old and a little decrepit. I couldn’t afford a replacement but he managed to get it working again for a lot cheaper then I expected and told me that if it starts playing up again to give him a call, touch wood, so far I’ve not had to call him back and it’s been a good few months now.

In just two days Richard and team removed my 30 year old Baxi Boiler from a downstairs chimney breast and installed a Worcester Bosch boiler in the upstairs airing cupboard, extending the gas pipe to this new location and connecting up to the original radiators and water pipes. The multitude of new pipework in the restricted space of the airing cupboard was very neatly done. Richard agreed to routing the flue pipe horizontally through the loft to exit through the end wall – requiring working in a rather cramped space. This avoided disturbing my aging slate roof with a roof vent. Their first job was to lay a protective film over the stair carpet, and all the waste from the works was quickly cleared away. All this achieved while working with the additional complication of “School Street” traffic restrictions morning and afternoon. Richard and his team members were very pleasant to work with and were supported by an efficient office team.

I called Richard as our boiler had been slowly leaking for a while. I was quite worried as our previous engineer took 4 visits to try and fix it and he miserably failed. I must say that I was impressed by Richard's ability to find and fix the leak on our boiler within 20 minutes. I will definitely get him back in for the next service or for any repair.
