PK Solutions carried out repairs to our guttering. A couple of repaired joints have developed faults and are leaking. I messaged PK solutions on 17/11 who eventually booked in to visit on Fri 24/11. They didn't show (msgd that eve to say too busy with paperwork), rescheduled for Sat 25/11 (didn't show, msgd in evening to say another job overrun and phone died) and finally on Sun 26/11 (again no show and I've not heard anything more?) Always prefer offering opportunity to put right and avoid pursuing guarantee claim through checkatrade, but what can you do??

The work looks good but so far have not seen how the guttering is dealing with water in heavy rainfall. I was unable to obtain an invoice from the trader, although I asked him several time. All I managed to get was an email saying I had paid, without a proper invoice, although I had to pay immediately after the job with my internet banking. He could have given me a hand written invoice after I paid or just emailed one out as an attachment or sent me one out by post for me to pay later. It’s harder to claim back on a tax return as a landlord. Can’t use this trader again for this reason.

Karl was friendly and polite. He did the job straight away and for a fair price (I have a number of quotes) He seemed very knowledgeable too . The only reason I didn't give a 10 for reliability is because I've yet to receive the promised guarantee via email
