Dig and lay concrete pad for swim spa. Just completed a 5.5 x 3.2 meter concrete pad. Team was polite, on time, and knowledgeable, they also dug a trench for me that was not part of the original work concept as they had the digger available in the morning, very helpful indeed at no extra cost. A new fence The most stressful time of my life! Craig was a nice enough guy to talk to with BUT a job that nearly doubled in price and what was said to be a 3 to 6 weeks to complete turned into 5 months of hell. A new driveway damaged, my car damaged, two walls damaged, the garage ended up not the size I asked for,I asked for silicone render and they tried to pass off a much cheaper alternative. I had to get 4 different contractors in to finish the job. Way to many problems to list. Answer from tradesperson: I am extremely dissapointed to be reading this review. Neil originally rang up for a new fence at the rear of his property as per the title of this review. After providing a quote Neil decided that he wanted a garage. The cost obviously increased considerably but was allways agreed and paperwork provided before commencing any work. Cost increased due to more work. Timescales increased due to more work, Driveway was protected at all time and Neil was made aware that building a garage removing 100 tonnes of rock and earth from the rear of his property that we could only do our best in protecting it. Constant moaning about funds made the build uneasy. Pathways, wall coping and wall rendering Neil expected me to do for free. To sum it up extra work incurs extra cost and extra time. All positive reviews on my builder and online only goes to prove that you can jump through hoops for some people and they still won’t be happy. All the work carried out is to an excellent standard. Feather edge fence for 3 sides of garden (fence poles already in) Hired Craig for a second time - the first was for a wall, the second for a fence. Absolute jack of all trades and has mastered all of them - the quality of work is top notch, communication was clear and frequent whilst I was away from the house, and he and the crew tidied up after themselves before leaving.

Replace broken roof tiles Great communication and he came out and assessed the job and then completed it the next day. Highly recommend.

Demolish then reconstruct retaining wall Craig was very communicative throughout the entire job - it started with unexpected delays that were out of everyone's control, and Craig kept me up-to-date regularly with what was happening. Once work started, it was obvious that Craig and his team apply years of experience to do a brilliant job - there's obvious pride in the work, and you can tell it has been done professionally and accurately. Craig and his team finished the work in a timely manner, tidied up, and made sure I was happy with it before leaving the site. Knock down and rebuild wall between passage and living room Craig and his team were amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They were reliable, clean and their work was first class. Patio renovations Couldn’t have asked for a better team of builders. Very polite and trustworthy. Kept to their word. Everything was to a very high standard. Garden Patio & Retaining Wall Professional, reliable and hard working! From start to finish Craig & his team were a pleasure to deal with, they always turned up on time, they were knowledgeable and did an excellent job. new wall and pillars Craig and his team have recently built a boundary wall for us. The quality of the work was excellent, and since completion, many neighbours have commented on the quality of the work. The team were always punctual, courteous and friendly. If we need any building work in the future we will certainly be using RCL Construction again. New front wall with gate pillars Craig , bob and team are really friendly , and a genuine family run buisness. They have done a fab job on my new wall, cleaned and efficient, and even helped with the fitting of our new gate which wasn’t easy. I got three quotes in total and the price was also very reasonable. But I knew when I saw the work these guys had done they were the builders for me as there prices were more reasonable than others too! They brought the work forward for me and worked around our availability they even made sure my neighbours side was looking clean and tidy too finishing the gaps off with cement. Highly recommended I’ve even got them to measure up my next big job on my house as I will definitely be using them again. Thanks guys! Drive Way Installation and Wall My wife and I were very happy with the RCL team, they were all polite, jolly and an all round pleasure to deal with. They got the job done ahead of schedule and at a reasonable price when compared with other quotes we had received. Would recommend. Double garage RCL built a double garage at the rear of my property. Craig completed the job from start to finish and was a pleasure to deal with.
