I found RKD to be very professional and respectful in a difficult environment. I work in the care industry with adults with multiple disabilities and care needs and this is where RKD came and built a porch and did a patio area. They were very understanding of the environment and went out of their way to ensure they didn't disrupt the residents. The work carried out was exactly what we wanted and was finished within the agreed timeframe and the agreed price. I feel RKD went out of their way to add extra quality to their work and I would 100% recommend them to others.

Rob from RKD Building came to our rescue after another builder couldn't start the work when promised. He was recommended to us by a local independent building control company. The work that needed doing involved removing a huge solid stone gable end wall and supporting with steel lintels (literally taking away the bottom half of the side of the house!) and I knew it wasn't a straight forward job. After talking to Rob however, I felt relieved that he was so knowledgeable and he answered all my questions. His plan was an improvement on the previous builder's suggestion, meaning that the steel lintels would be hidden in the ceiling which was great. He and his team did an excellent job for us. They turned up when they said they would, kept us informed during the work, and finished on time. I rarely leave reviews online but made sure I found the time to write this one as RKD Building were amazing and I would highly recommend them.

Rob completed work on my garden to an exceptionally high standard. He renewed the brickwork which was falling apart, took up unkempt grass areas and also some tatty stonework and gravel. The finished product was wonderful! I am so pleased with all the work that he did - I wish I could post all the before and after pictures - you would be amazed!! Besides the excellent brickwork he laid new gravel and a lawn. I absolutely recommend Rob for his professional approach and building skills. Would be happy to show any prospective customers his work. Choosing RKD Building to undertake our two storey extension was the best decison we could have made. A first class service from start to finish.
