Roofer Needed to Install Dry Valleys and Tiles Agreed £1,100 for a roofing job to be completed in one day. They didn’t finish and asked for £500 extra. I agreed to pay £400 more and paid £750 after the first day. They returned the next day but still didn’t finish. Hips weren’t installed, gutters, fascia and soffit were left incomplete, and dry valley tiles were poorly cut. I saw them waste tiles due to lack of skill, not shortage, and I had to buy more. Didn’t have proper tools. Despite this, they demanded full payment and sent messages saying things like “I know where you live”—completely unprofessional and intimidating. They claimed they’d done the “main parts” and deserved full pay, but the job is far from finished. This isn’t a proper roofing company—just someone trying to take money without delivering. Now I’m left to pay someone else to finish and fix their mess. Avoid at all costs. Answer from tradesperson: We’ve done our job but he still not paid he try to lead down me and we’ve done good job but he still not happy . He don’t want to pay he want to save his money.
