I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received from this locksmith. Not only did the work leave visible marks all over our door, but he also drilled unnecessary holes that have now damaged it permanently. To make matters worse, there was no attempt to clean up after the job—debris and mess were simply left behind. On top of that, the lock itself wasn’t even fitted properly. It was attached wonky and didn’t fully work, which is incredibly concerning for something that’s meant to provide security. Luckily, my partner was able to adjust it so that it functions, but that shouldn’t have been necessary after paying for a professional service. We were assured that he would return to fix the holes and tidy everything up, but since then we’ve heard absolutely nothing. No follow-up, no response—just complete disregard for the situation he left us in. This level of workmanship and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid this locksmith.

Repair upvc door lock mechanism and hinges This locksmith wasted a huge amount of my time and caused unnecessary stress. On the first scheduled day, no one turned up. I later heard it was due to “car trouble”, but I was never informed and waited in all day with no communication. A second visit was arranged, but the person only came to take measurements and had no parts with them, despite the issue being clearly explained beforehand. I was then told the new mechanism had been ordered and would arrive on 24th December. No one contacted me. After chasing, I was told 2nd January, yet again with no response or follow-up. Tez later assured me another person would attend with the correct parts, only for me to discover the parts had never been ordered. I was then told only a gearbox and hinges had been ordered, which was not what I requested and did not match the job description on MyBuilder, and I was asked for extra payment. Communication was extremely poor throughout. Calls were ignored and replies often came at 1am. Answer from tradesperson: Like this money no one bring for you what you want, sorry but you not answered on time for the calls, please think about your position also. Reply created 21 Jan 2026

Hi, I want to install smart locks on my outside PVC door and on intern Done all instalation, and some other minor adjustments for a reasonable price. Installer done a better job than I expected, but he didn't have a lot of knowledge about smart locks. He didn't set up front door smart lock correctly or other locks either.
