Launch summary

THiiiNK! Design was established in January 2003 by Ana Mercedes Hopkirk and Jorge Uribe* following the reaction and insistence of future clients who had seen the private commissions undertaken by Ana Mercedes and Jorge in the previous two years. Since its establishment, THiiiNK! Design has completed over 60 architectural design projects in the Richmond/Kew/Barnes/Sheen/Twickenham/Hamstead/ chelsea/ cornwall/ Colombia/ south of France/ area alone. In view of our extensive local knowledge, we have also been commissioned to find properties suitable for residential and investment purposes. *In 2006 Jorge joined Norman Foster and Partners where he is now a partner. VISION: Our vision is that one day all architects and designers will only have a Licence to Operate if they: Listen, Learn and correctly Interpret about the aspirations, needs and wants of their client/s; Identify, Evaluate and Communicate the issues and constraints inherent within the aspirations, needs and wants of their client/s; Agree with their client/s realistic expectations that can be aligned with the reasonable expectations of neighbours, the local council, contractors and all other key stakeholders; Manage stakeholder expectations with total transparency and integrity throughout the project to ensure that there are no disappointments or nasty surprises; Deliver exceptional and timeless architectural design at fair and reasonable cost. MISSION: Our mission is to work with our key stakeholders to prove by example that our vision is achievable and that it will ultimately benefit current and future generations. OUR PHILOSOPHY: Based on the simple belief that architecture should be generated by the spiritual and material needs of people, THiiiNK! Design is focused on the reinterpretation of existing good architectural form to match the thoughts and dreams of our clients. In this way, we retain the architectural heritage in our towns and cities whilst re-energising the space for Contemporary living. Good and excellent architecture stimulates the senses by harmonising the relationship between people, infrastructure, interior spaces and surroundings with textures, materials, light, shade, sound and silence. When all these are in harmony the architecture becomes ageless and will please the generations to come.
