As a woman dealing with builders fills me with dread, i am the daughter of an owner of a small building firm, long gone, but i heard the horror stories about other building firms and the work my dad had to pick up as an honest and good builder. As a woman i felt like a sitting duck for scam and scum builders. I went onto Checkatrade, asked friends, and saw a few. Haas who runs VBS is a decent man. He understood the need, provided an SOW. And I have a beautiful ensuite! And i never will look for another builder again. ! What a find!"
