I had this company to do rendering of the back wall, first they cleared all the old stuff and redid the rendering. I am absolutely happy, they are on time and have very competitive prices.(I had other quotes from other traders as well) The only fault I can find is they were bit slow and I thought it would all be completed quicker, but could be because they were thorough. All in all I would recommend them.

Allen and Leon removed the wall between our kitchen and living room, put in a support beam, capped the existing electrics and gas and plastered the new opening. From their very first visit to our home, we had a good feeling about them but once they started working, they exceeded our expectations. They worked to an extremely high standard, keeping us well informed on their progress, were polite, courteous, professional and helpful. At the end of each day, they left the place tidy. We would recommend them to anybody and will definitely be using their services again

We had Allen from A and L to install our new fireplace as we had a old disconnected gas fire from the council in place from a previous tenant. we contacted A and L after seeing them in a local magazine and thought we should check them out on Which. After speaking to a member of staff regarding our job they suggested they should come around to see if they could complete the job required. After viewing the blanked gas pipe and made sure it was safe. They suggested they could fit us in next month as the job should not take more than 1 and half days to complete. All we can say is the plastering work that was needed was second to none and the install and finish was superb. They even cleaned up after leavening a perfect job for my wife to see. We would full endorse A and L and recommend them to anyone needing a job doing well..

These two very likeable men turned up on Monday morning and got stuck in dismantling the old kitchen. They were very professional, efficient and meticulous in everything they did. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even tidied up after themselves at the end of each day. The new units were installed to our exact specifications and they did perfect job. It was completed on schedule and on budget. I would highly recommend these two lads to anyone who likes a good price and a professional job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We commissioned A&L to renovate a bathroom that hadn’t been touched since the 1960s. To make more space, this included knocking down a solid wall and replacing it with a new stud wall further into the next room through which new plumbing configuration would run. There was the remnants of an old ‘en suite’ in the adjacent room to contend with too. From the start, Allen took great interest in the plan and this meant he removed much of the burden of project management. He was full of ideas but listened to exactly what we wanted. As soon as he set to work: the demolition was quick; the new studwork high quality and solid; the re-plumbing was expert and stress tested; the re-plastering precise and comprehensive; the tiling (of small tiles) truly artisan and without any wastage. The final finish and sealing left a clean and neat professional job of which we are very pleased. We found A&L to be methodical, meticulous and proactive to problem solving. Allen worked long hours to get the job done, cleaning and tidying to a high standard each night which was a huge help with a curious toddler in the house. Allen’s interested and cheerful disposition capped a resoundingly positive experience for us and has left us with both a high-quality family bathroom we can enjoy for years and a neatly finished adjoining room for our child to make her own. We plan to use them again for future work. In summary: highly recommended.

We have had repair works to walls on the house and garage this week. Allen was tidy, courteous and most importantly the work was to a very high standard. We will use A&L Building services in the future!

Having been let down by other builders in the past, it was a refreshing change to have Allen and Leon to do our work. They stuck to the date they promised, were punctual, courteous and very accommodating with some last minute changes that we made. Great care was taken over the work, which was finished to a high standard, and at a reasonable cost. We would have Allen and Leon to work on our property again, and would recommend them to others.

Allen & Leon were excellent in both their work and their attitude, rendering an unusual design on a huge wall in central Bristol fir a mural. They also responded with patience & professionalism when we had to change our initial plans due to planning permission. They communicated well, were friendly, flexible and got the job done to a high standard. We would definitely recommend them & hire their services again.
