Hanging Three Internal Doors and Skirting One Room Don and Alex completed the hanging of our doors and skirting fitting with great precision taking more than the initial time quoted to complete the work with no grumbles. While completing this job we learnt that Don has a background in construction and far more than just carpentry and Alex his colleague being an electrician by trade we hired them immediately after recieving a quote for a much bigger job breaking down load bearing walls, installing RSJ, 1st fix electrics and ceiling and joist work. Again they completed this work to an excellent standard over the two weeks they were onsite working long hours and barely leaving a mess. Having struggled previously to meeting Don to find a builder who we could trust and doesn't also charge the earth; we have been very happy to have found Don & Alex and have requested further quotes for additional work and will likely be using them again in the future. One final point of note: Don stood out amongst all other builders (6) encountered in producing itemised quotes for individual work and tasks carried out rather than just a 'lump sum' or 'labor and materials' quote. This transparency gave clarity to all as to what was and what wasn't included and also a greater sense of where the cost goes to various tasks and he was happy to 'take out' certain things if asked e.g if DIY.

Cutting and installing 4 internal doors These guys did a perfect job of fitting our doors -no fuss and very tidy. I would hire them again.

Installing soundproofing Donatas and his colleague are hard-working, conscientious and competent. They worked hard to complete my soundproofing work in the flat above me as well as doing work for the person renovating the flat. They are pleasure to deal with and were considerate towards me in relation to reducing noise disturbance while I was working. I would highly recommend them. Phoebe
