Jason was amazing. Responded quickly to the call out, even fitted it into a busy day when already fully booked. Job was for an elderly lady living in poor conditions, and Jason responded sensitively to her situation. Incredible.

The work Jason did do is fine. However our issue has come with the finish and price. He did not do grouting which was expected and, for only 5 hours work, charged for a full days labour, we assume. (installation costs @ £370 which is £74 an hour @ 5 hours. Check-A-Trade average for a plumbers day is £347.50). Once we received the invoice, we queried it. 5 days later, when due, we had still heard nothing. To avoid undue stress we paid but also emailed again and still heard nothing. In hindsight, with the shower's performance still poor, we would also have hoped for some alt suggestions.

Jason responded quickly to our call for help and while unable to attend at once (late afternoon call), told us how to deal with the leak. As promised, he attended at 8.00 am and quickly analysed that the tank was not the problem; the valve attached to the ballcock was holed by water pressure, causing a stream of water to shoot up as the tank filled. Luckily he had a suitable replacement part which he fitted quickly but carefully. He accommodated us before his scheduled job which he was able to attend without being late. Positive, cheerful local tradesman we would recommend without reservation
