Slabbing & small patio Quality workmanship. Beautiful job well execute

Large Decking area suffering from rotting joists A good job overall which would have been excellent if not spoilt by a lack of contact at the end and failure to finish off parts of the job as verbally agreed. Phil seemed a bloke and obviously cares about his work, the job was more complicated than I think expected so ended up being a rather drawn out process as they’d only allocated a certain amount of time. This unfortunately resulted in some incomplete/poorly finished decking which required a return visit to ‘tidy up’. Main issue was lack of communication around completing some paperwork which nearly did materialise...

Raised rear garden and patio slabs Phil was brilliant from start to finish. Really nice guy who cares about your project and takes pride in a good finish and making everything clean and tidy. He and his worker were very hard working in the cold and wet weather yet the new turf, raised patio and new paving is clean and tidy and looks fantastic. the price was very competitive and so I asked him to come back and do some other small jobs which he gladly did and were excellent as well. For sure I will use Phil again for future projects and highly recommend him.

Decking Phil was excellent, reliable, friendly, professional and had some very good ideas over and above our original thoughts. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again if ever needed or recommending him on. If your considering having any decking laid or a pergola, no point in shopping around. The price was fair, the workmanship and reliability second to none!

patio Philip and Dan did a great job extending and relaying our patio with granite pavers, installing an ACO drain and building new steps up to the lawn. They were very professional the whole time, from giving a detailed explanatory quote, to finishing off and tidying up thoroughly at the end. They were also friendly and polite to talk to. We would certainly use them again for any other work.

Replace my whole 42sqm garden with paving. Phil & Dan did a fantastic job. Turned up when they said they would, back every on time every day, keep me up to date with texts and locked up after themselves. Job was done quick and very well and tidied up as went along - Cleared and paved whole garden, looks lovely - will use again and would recommend. Tom

Patio decking installation Fantastic job done by Philip and the guys. Really friendly guys. Really clean and tidy. Happy to give extra advice about the work they were doing and on future maintenance of the decking they were installing. Extension of small patio and laying slabbed path Excellent job, exactly as required.

Fencing The job had to be rescheduled due to bad weather but once okay, Phil and Dan got on with it. They went above and beyond and even helped me to trim a very tall and thorny bush. I will definitely use them again and have already recommended Phil to my friends. Very professional, tidy, punctual, trustworthy with reasonable pricing too. Thank you Holmes and & Gardens.

Replace old fence panels Great work. Requested a quote, selected Phil and the job was completed, all within a week! Fence is looking good and withstood the gales last week! Would recommend.

Garden Overhaul Phil and his colleague Dan transformed my garden from a wasteland into something I can be proud of. They installed a large deck, new paving, and a shed. Phil emailed me with pictures of materials before the job started, and made suggestions, such as integral lights for the deck, along the way. Any problems that arose were dealt with professionally, and with a minimum of fuss. They worked in all weathers, and were very polite. They cleaned up and tidied everything away before they left, and I have no hesitation in recommending Holmes & Gardens to anyone needing work done in their garden.
