Decking to be constructed in small area Claudio is a good carpenter, but get written design measurements. I had quote, a sketch, but not measurements. Thought were on same page, deck nice but higher than sketch. Height caused issue:1 side borders bedding with special plant I highlighted. Wrong height meant plant hidden under deck, only top visible.Claudio said not fixable-would ruin deck. After stressful civil 1/2 hr wrangle he fixed the small area to satisfaction, but wrangle caused him to mistrust. He came at 9am done before 4, ready to go. He gave bank details so I'd transfer pay on the spot. This didn’t allow time for me to transfer funds from one bank to another bank we use for bldg work. I was put in awful position, he misinterpreted my explanation as an excuse, he got anxious. I hadn't even had an invoice until I asked. I phoned husband who was in New York, put Claudio on phone to reassure him we don’t “screw” workers (Claudio’s word). Husband swore but apologized. proposed I write a cheque he'd hold until receipt of the transfer (in 2 hrs likely). He refused cheque. More stress, but he said the deck was his property until paid for, took cheque and left. I did necessary banking. Lloyds couldn’t verify his acct. If one transfers from another bank into Lloyds and then asap sends that exact amount to unidentifiable acct it flags long security phone call. I cancelled my plans that night.Claudio received funds in LESS in less than 2 hrs! He sent photo of destroyed cheque. He mistakenly misread a situation. New panel fence and gate for back garden Claudiu is punctual, reliable, courteous, honest, and hardworking. He showed up on time to give us a quote to replace our garden fence and sourced quality materials for the job which he executed efficiently and to a very high standard. He is proactive--he saw that there was a chance of rain on the stipulated start date so decided to work on the weekend to make sure that the job would still be done ahead of schedule. He is clearly someone who cares deeply about the quality of his work, which was evidenced in the job he did for us--I would not hesitate to hire him again. (Updated on 11 Oct 2021)

1 kitchen door fitting (wood & glass) Decent Job!!! Very quick response. Claudiu came within an hour and fitted my new kitchen door. I would highly recommended his services.
