On quoting the job couldn’t of been more friendly, as the days&weeks went on , awful at communicating & time keeping, I had a message while I was out to say the driveway was completed, when I got home I was shocked to see it so unprofessional, unfinished, holes , lifting , I connected them on many occasions was eventually told they would take a sample to the tarmac company witch never happened, I contacted again, to see what would be done he eventually came round and said it’s awful and would need to take it all back out , and he would be in touch , they have now blocked us after full payment
The main guy called James took most of the money upfront via bank transfer started the work later than he advised around 8/9 days and then he started some work and left the job and stated he needed more money due to some additional work which i transferred and then he disappeared and did not return, i tried calling him but he number was no longer in use. He also started my neighbours and did not finish off and took money off them too.
Contracted James to replace our Patio and install some acco drains. He was very courteous and polite the work appeared to be good and was a reasonable price. The work was finished in under a week. About a week after the job was finished the grout suddenly popped out and we discovered more than a quarter of the slabs had started to wobble. I also discovered the acco drains had not been joined or connected to the drain. I messaged him and he said no worries he would come and sort it. It's now been a week and he is not responding to my texts or emails. I wish I could say use but avoid.
