Matty Moon Electrical

Have experienced many domestic electricians, and being a retired electrical engineer on the underground network, Matty goes to the top of my list. Nice fella, neat job, and very reasonable rates. Highly recommended

Matt went above and beyond with the installation of an EV charger. It wasn’t an easy job due to some logistics, however Matt was very quick, effective and his communication was outstanding throughout the whole process. Definitely recommended and will get in touch should any other jobs be needed.

Matty fitted a new light on the ceiling above our landing, changed a light switch, installed two new outdoor lights and changed some sockets from single to double with USB. Matty's service was second to none. His communication was great from start to finish, very knowledgeable, kept me up to date and collaborated on decisions to be made, arrived when he said he would and carried out the work in the agreed timeframe. Really pleased with the work he carried out for us and definitely will be using him again.

Matty was thorough in explaining the work needed and the safety updates on lighting since our original spots were fitted. He completed the job as requested. He returned to finish off as agreed. He was more than helpful and efficient.

Matty responded to my service enquiry on the same day (Monday) and offered to come and have a look at the work that needed doing so he could provide a quote. He sent the quote through that same evening and once agreed, he offered to come and complete the work on Friday morning that same week. He arrived promptly on the day and worked to a very high standard, leaving the place spotless and emailing the invoice and certificate shortly after completing the work. The communication and the service have been great and I will certainly reach out to Matty again for any similar work in the future.

Matty recently completed the installation of a consumer unit (fuse box), lights and electrical sockets to an outdoor shed I had built. Matty has done a number of jobs around our property. Fitting in extraction fans/ electrical sockets and diagnosed and fixed some problems with our existing wiring. All around he’s done a great job and we’ve always been very happy with all of the work

Arrived punctually on time and was very friendly and informative and had time to explain what needed to be done. I wanted a double electrical socket outside so I could use electrical appliances straight from outside i.E. Electric lawnmower, power washer for the car, hoover, etc. The work was carried out professionally and I was told exactly what was going to happen and all the answers were given in an easy to understand way. I also asked if they could put in a switch in the attic for a light to come on and change a pendant ceiling fitting and replace a broken socket.

We previously had an electrician to look at a faulty wiring in our hallway, who, after spending half a day on it, gave up and bypassed the circuit. We were lucky enough to find Matt through a friend who looked at it and fixed it within an hour. He is knowledgeable, talented and honest. Would highly recommend.
