Scrape and re-paint awkward high kitchen corner Very good job done, and a very nice chap!

Bathroom Ceiling Painting Quoted on the job low so he can get job, despite no feeback I gave the tradesmen the opportunity to do a good job. I paid him more than what he initially wanted. He mentioned he had done few coats on the ceiling of the bathroom but looks like he had done less than 2 coats. He turned up midday and worked till 5:30pm. He said once paint is dried then it will look better. I then asked him to quote me on my bedroom, again he under quoted and agreed £300, again turns up a few days later at midday to start the work. I had told him that the whole room including doors and any wood work needs to be painted. He started off doing things bit by bit and again started lying about doing multiple coats on the doors. He then stopped working and decided to leave. Called the Police to say that I am not paying for a job he did not complete. Police said it was a civil matter and it should go to court. he then was not leaving the house when I have asked him multiple times. He then eventually left and then even after he had stopped working, i decided to pay for more than half of the job done. I messaged him and told him that he will only get half of the money that we agreed as he had not completed the job. He did not respond then I called him and said to read my message, he said he done more than half so we agreed £175 which he put it in writing on a text message. I had paid him straight away and then sent him a screenshot of the payment. After he sends a text saying £125 see you in court.Don't use (Updated on 23 Oct 2023)
