Sam did a full refurbishment of my flat - new gas boiler installation and pipe work and a new bathroom - removing all the old installation and replacing with new. The project ran to budget and time and when any unforeseen circumstances arose I was informed along the way. The quality of the work was exceptional.

Sam fitted a new shower, WC, basin and radiator in an old bathroom that was a jumble of redundant pipe work. He saw immediately what could be ripped out and grasped the essence of the idea I had in mind. His work on this job had to be dovetailed in between other trades, carpentry, electrics and plastering and tiling. He always appeared when he said he would often at short notice. He also re-routed a gas pipe that was in the way. The new shower room looks fantastic and works well. This couldn't have happened without Sam's skill, hardworking and attention to detail. Sam is business-like, efficient and knowledgeable but also a likeable guy. I rate him highly and would not hesitate to recommend him for any plumbing job. I was with BG Homecare who were more interested in taking my monthly payments than fixing my hot water. After 4 visits in 3 months with no water, I decided to get a professional in. Initially, as advised by BG, the boiler needed a power flush. Contacted Sam at Plumbwise who cost half the price and took half the time. BG quoted a visit 6 weeks later leaving us with no hot water for a grand total of over 4 months. Sam got the job done and we finally had hot water. After coming back from holiday, we decided to replace the boiler for a better model. Sam quoted us for two appropriate models for our property and chose the Vaillant 825. Sam completed the job in one working day, including new flue, and sorted our Hive out. Cleaned up after and you would not have known we just had a plumber in. Now we have an excellent local plumber in Sam, I have cancelled the BG Homecare and don't have to wait days for someone to turn up.

Sam has completed work for us on several occasions, including fitting a new saniflo and repairing a leaking tub. He also undertook a power flush of our central heating system over the winter and it's never worked better. He's polite, punctual, efficient and finishes his work to a high standard. He isn't deterred by obstacles and is keen to solve problems other plumbers seem reluctant to help with. I highly recommend him.

Sam sourced and fitted a brand new Vailant boiler, made sure the installation and new remote control system were working correctly, took away the old boiler, ensured the flat was left spotless and organised an extended warranty on the new boiler. Sam moved pipework to relocate sink & washing machine. We were very pleased with the high quality of workmanship, he is friendly and reliable and we will use him for work in the future-highly recommended.
