URGENT demolition of an unsafe condemned garden room UNACCEPTABLE tactics. NOT recommended.👎 Although he’s a hard working young man, MAKE SURE u get the FULL & CLEAR quote IF u choose him, as he miscalculated his costs & still expected ME to pay for his mistakes! He DECEIVED me by giving me an attractive ‘all inclusive’ quote (TOTAL of £3000 inc. VAT), which clearly INCLUDED ALL labour AND 3 required skips) & upon which I chose him for the job. But when the job was completed, (ONLY THEN!) he sprung on me a £4,650 invoice, (55% HIGHER than his original quote)! We had a week long discussion about this & we finally reached an agreement - but when he arrived at my house for the agreed payment, he proved how unclear & FICKLE he was even in that agreement, as he still INSISTED & DEMANDED to be paid almost the full amount of that 55% increased invoice!… Only at the time of payment he revealed that he DIDN’T INCLUDE the extra 6 skips (which I PAID SEPARATELY for!) & claimed that “everybody does it like that”! At no point during the 3 weeks job, did he mention any ‘extra’ costs which he ‘forgot’ to mention, or miscalculated & underestimated. It took another hour of unpleasant argument until we reached the final amount to be paid. Yes, he apologised ‘for not being clear from the start’ & ‘for not notifying me about any ‘extras’ -but ‘sorry’ is MEANINGLESS when the price jumps up unexpectedly by more than half! And even though he finally understood his mistakes, he still DEMANDED me to pay for them! VERY VERY disappointing

We performed the safe removal of asbestos cement roofing sheets and demolished a large garage for Mr Rogan in August this year. Great job no mess friendly and reliable took down a garage would definitely hire again
