"Single storey rear extension and major internal & external alterations. We bought a 1907 Edwardian property near the Leicester Botanical Gardens in December 2012. We eventually wish to move my wife's parents into the property so the ground floor accommodation required extensive adaptation. Ryan was engaged as a principal project leader and master builder required to co-ordinate a group of craftsmen including: Architect Planning Structural Surveyor Electricians Plumbers Roofers Landscape Gardeners Painters & Decorators etc. The project included a large kitchens diner extension requiring a complex roof and lighting arrangement. He then made stud wall interior rooms to our specifications. Groundwork and drainage took almost 4 months and needed both patience and resolve. His communication across all trades was excellent and in the areas where he may have lacked some confidence, he was able to secure excellent support. I am delighted to recommend his work which is complimented by a character of diligence and equilibrium enabling him to deal with all types of clients and characters. I am sure that he will have an impressive number of photographs from such a large project but if you need to see his work first hand then you may arrange this via Ryan at a convenient time. "Bungalow extension and additional alterations. The bungalow was extended along the whole of the rear of the property to provide additional space in the kitchen and the lounge. A double apex roof was constructed, with four velux windows in each part of the roof. The chimney was taken down and new doors and windows installed. Internally, stud walls have been built to give an en-suite and utility room. The quality of the work is brilliant. The building inspectors have commented on it and commended Ryan for it. Ryan explained what he was doing, what we could expect and discussed what we wanted at each stage of the building work. His quotation was very detailed and he went to great lengths to match existing brickwork, roof tiles, etc. The work was on time and on budget, any additional cost (choice of internal doors, etc) was discussed and costs obtained and compared by Ryan on our behalf. Ryan turned up when he said he would, worked full days and was always polite and considerate to the fact that he was working in our home."
