Roy King came to my home. The solution was a service. He did explain at the end that it needed a part that needed replacing, a “Flow Regulator and plastic bit”. It was around 5 when he finished, so I said I’d buy the part from City Plumbing. He said he’d come back and fit it. But he never came back. On March 1, I sent Roy King the message that I had the part. His reply was “ I’ll pop over later in the week if OK, maybe Saturday morning.” I paid him cash for the entire job. 12.3.22 I asked him for an ETA, as I had shopping to do. His reply, he had Covid. THE WORK WAS CARRIED OUT WITH AN ONGOING PROBLEM OF THE THERMOSTAT NOT WORKING AND NO CONTROL FOR MY 90 YEAR OLD PARENTS - SEVERAL MANY CONTACTS MADE TO ROY WHO HAD SENT ONE MAN 4MONTHS AGO TO COME AND ASSESS AND TELL ROY OF THE NEED TO FIX THIS FAULTY PART WHICH THE GUY SAID WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED REPLACING - NO REPAIR HAS TAKEN PLACE ROY HAS NOT CONTACTED ANY OF US AND AT THIS POINT IT SEEMS HE DOES NOT WANT TO RECTIFY THIS FAULT. THE COLD WEATHER IS FAST APPROACHING AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TREATMENT AND WORKMANSHIP TO VERY ELDERLY PEOPLE THEY HAD SAVED FOR SEVERAL YEARS TO HAVE THIS DONE.

Best plumber ever - he really knows his stuff and I have every confidence in his workmanship having been let down by others in the past -Roy is extremely competent and efficient. I highly recommend him to everyone !
