I needed a new boiler and South Thames Gas discussed with me the options available, arranged supply and fitted the boiler. They were helpful and efficient and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They also are undertaking routine service visits on the boiler and again they are efficient and courteous

We run a property business and Michael and Donna at South Thames Gas are the best plumbers and heating engineers we have ever had. On quite a few occasions over the years they have gone way above the call of duty and come to our rescue, like when our heating broke in very cold weather and when we have had serious leaks. We wouldn't use any other company, and Michael and Donna are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. They are very honest and the work is of an excellent standard.

Remove existing fan from Worcester Bosch 24iJr boiler and supply and fit new fan. The work was carried out promptly and the time of the resident's choosing. The repair was 100 percent effective.

I have used South Thames Gas a number of times and have always been completely satisfied with their work. The employee who comes is always helpful, cheerful and stays to complete the job whether it is to do with plumbing, the boiler or the central heating system. No job is too small: we had to call them in for a blocked sink recently and this was dealt with speedily. The office too is extremely helpful in organising the work and always keeps in touch if necessary.

Our gas was turned off when the British Gas man who was fitting a Smart Meter found we had a gas leak. South Thames Gas were able to come out within a couple of hours and fix it. They were very professional and helpful and we were able to turn our central heating back on. I would recommend them unconditionally.

I was very pleased with the service provided. The plumbing engineer called out to me was patient, prompt and professional. I was also very satisfied with the administrive team who were also patient. I would recommend them and use them again.

I have had problems with the after care. The boiler was installed on September 11th and the engineer left a piece of equipment behind so came back to collect this the following day. I explained to him that the pressure had fallen quite a lot overnight, so there may be something wrong either with the boiler or the radiators (a leak in the system). He said that normally if there is a leak there tends to be water somewhere, and to ask my neighbour downstairs. There is no evidence of water anywhere and having asked my neighbour everything is apparently fine. Anyway 2/3 weeks later the pressure fell again. Two days ago (November 26th) I called the office, and the engineer now says that he had already checked the radiators (he didn't check all of them) and there was no water, and that it was a brand new boiler and the culprit is probably "a very small leak" somewhere but they are not coming back (so much for the 10 year guarantee) because he had already been here and everything was fine, and their guarantee only covers the boiler, not the leaks. So I adjust the pressure again, and it falls again in two days, by quite a lot. So if the leak is so small, how come the pressure falls again in just two days? And even if they don't cover the leaks, only the boiler, can they not come to check that the boiler is OK, and if it is not, then help me find the leak? I will have to go to another one in Crystal Palace.
