Compare traders

Side-by-side decision view

Compare public evidence side by side.

Decision workflow

Add two traders when the shortlist is down to real options.

Compare is the evidence view for the final choice: it keeps ratings, review volume, source spread, risk checks, profile state, and quote actions on one page instead of forcing the homeowner to judge every public profile in isolation.

Review strength

Put volume next to quality

Compare rating, materialized review depth, and review recency together so a five-star profile with thin evidence does not outrank a deeper public record.

Source coverage

Check where the proof comes from

See marketplace links, source counts, public profile state, and source-named trust signals across the traders you are actually considering.

Risk and claims

Run checks before contact

Use Cowboy Checker, business-history evidence, and missing-proof signals to decide whether a trader belongs in the quote stage.

Hiring action

Move from comparison to project

When the strongest options are claimed, create a workspace project so quote requests, evidence, and the final hiring decision stay together.

Evidence checklist

Compare the blockers before comparing price.

The best comparison is not just the cheapest quote. It should show whether the trader has enough public evidence to trust the review score, enough source coverage to avoid single-platform blind spots, and enough verified context to explain who will actually stand behind the work.

  • Start with at least one trader that has enough review volume to make the rating meaningful.
  • Look for three or more independent source links before treating a profile as well corroborated.
  • Treat missing phone, missing credential, or inactive-company signals as blockers until the trader explains them.
  • Keep quote scope, deposit, guarantee, insurance, and availability terms attached to the same workspace record.
  • Use the full profile and Cowboy Checker when a trader wins on price but loses on public evidence depth.
