In April 2024 I switched to electric central heating. The replacement radiators are not as wide as the gas ones were. Fortunately, I had retained the cans of paint left by Terry and his team on 2 previous occasions so there was no problem for the bare surrounds to be painted. I am delighted also with the 2 rooms which were wallpapered as years since that happened and a real transformation and cosy too as we head into Winter. All work was completed in 3 days. This was the 4th visit by Ace Decor and each painter completes tasks to a very high standard. I definitely recommend Ace Decor Glasgow Ltd as they are very reliable and excellent timekeepers! Brought in to paint the whole house (top to bottom) which included a significant amount of plastering and wallpaper removal. Terry was approachable, reassuring and offered great advice putting two new home owners at ease. His team were efficient, friendly, trustworthy and reliable. We were delighted with the finish and the quality of the job. We would recommend Ace Decor!

After getting internal insulation in 4 rooms in my house the walls were back to bare plaster with a lot of gaps and the new woodwork had not been prepared for painting. Terry came round promptly when contacted and gave a quote for the 4 rooms which was lower than any other quotes I had received. He gave me a detailed description of what he would do including using knotting solution on the new untreated woodwork and filling all the plaster gaps. Terry and his team turned up on time the day they said they would start and did a great job. With new plaster walls they needed a few coats of emulsion but they were all finished to a high standard as was the paint on the woodwork. The 4 rooms one of which was a large room with back and front windows were all completed in 3 days with minimum disruption. The team were all very helpful and polite and I am happy to recommend them. I will certainly be contacting them again when I need other parts of the house decorated.

the guys were here to do the downstairs hall, stairway and upper landing, including doors and surrounds. they were always on time, friendly and worked speedily without leaving any mess. they did a really good job and the work was completed on time and to budget. very helpful and would definitely use again.

We are very happy with the work Terry and his team did for us. He was quick to respond, very helpful and organised everything for us. We had three quite large rooms painted and decorated, involving some wallpaper stripping and getting a plasterer for one of the ceilings. It was not a totally straightforward task overall but that was not a problem for them. Excellent quality of work. Fair price. They were punctual, courteous, friendly and conscientious. We were kept informed of progress and schedule throughout. Everything was discussed and explained clearly. We will definitely be using Terry and Ace Decor again.

Terry and his team painted the exterior of my house – the house now looks really smart. Terry provided good communication from his initial visit and discussion about the scope of work, to the quotation and work scheduling. The team arrived promptly each day; they were clearly used to working together and were very organised and professional. Terry was patient when I dithered and worried over what to do with the wooden shingles on the front of the house. He provided good advice and appreciated how important it was to me that this part of the work was "right", I am so happy with the end result which looks really great - just what I had in mind. I would not hesitate to recommend Terry and his team who were all so hard working, friendly and helpful. In summary most certainly ace.

ACE Decor were excellent. Carried out the work to a high standard. Very efficient and good to work with. The work had to be done to a certain timeline and they made sure it was completed by then. Would certainly use again and can recommend to others.

Painted my 2 bedroom flat to a high standard, which I'm very happy with. What I am most impressed by is the attitude Terry and his team have, they go above and beyond what is required. Terry is more like a Project Manager than a Painter, he makes it happen, organises other trades that are needed and gives sound advice. He is present and sees the big picture.

Have used Ace before and yet again The team have done an excellent, professional job. Hall, stairs and two bedrooms all finished to a high standard. Clean and tidy tradesmen. Highly recommend and will use again!

We were getting several rooms painted and wallpaper in one. Terry kept in touch before the work started and his team were friendly and efficient as well as keeping things tidy as we had our 4-year-old running around! The work was carried out in the agreed time and was finished to a high standard. This is the second job that Terry has done for me and I am expecting him to do another job again soon. I am very pleased with all the work that he has done. I was looking for a good painter and decorator and Terry was recommended to me by a friend. I found him to be very professional. The jobs were done quickly and to the agreed budget and to a high standard. The first job was in my own home and the second job was decorating a rental flat to get it ready to put on the market. We found Terry’s Ace Decor on Which Trusted Traders and found them to be a very good choice. The job was interior large hall lounge bathrooms 2-3 men over 4 days. They were friendly professional arrived promptly 8-15 every day They worked away with no delays They did good pre painting preps of filling gaps and holes ensuring a good finished look. Requests to fill and paint additional screw holes next day was no problem. They protected furniture and carpets well with no spots or spillages. The cost was reasonable and there were no unexpected add ins. We will be using Terry and his team again and would recommend them to others with no hesitation. Thank you Ace Decor-good job!

Terry was quick to respond to our enquiry, with a reasonable estimate of the work to be done - painting 8 external windows on three floors, replacing mastic and two rotten sills. He kept us informed during three months waiting for decent weather and arranging for scaffolding and mastic work. His team, Sean in particular, were very professional and worked to a high standard. We trusted Terry’s advice on aspects of the job and were very pleased with the result. There were no surprises in the final bill. Engaging Ace Decor was a very satisfactory experience.
