“Outstanding work by Acer Tree Services Ltd. Mike and his team felled over 50 overgrown leylandii trees, finishing exactly on schedule despite some wet weather, and leaving the garden immaculately tidy. They went above and beyond in moving a shed which was in the way of the works, and then making minor repairs to a fence which has long been in a poor state of repair. All at a fair and sensible price, and friendly too. Highly recommended.”
“Mike and his team were efficient and fairly price when removing a tall Oak tree in our property that had got out of control. They turned up right on time and got straight to work. They worked quickly and safely keeping me updated throughout. The job was done to an extremely high standard and Mike even offered to make the stump into a chair for our daughter at no extra cost which made her day. They cleaned up so well you wouldn't have known they had been (minus the tree) Highly recommend.”

3 Trees!
Mike was punctual, when he first visited in late June: he emailed me, as requested, with his quote and he arrived, at the stipulated time, on 7th September, with his team - Gavin and Gary. They were all very friendly, polite and professional and they did a great job on my Horse Chestnut, Bay and a difficult, large Holly - requiring a much needed haircut, along with the roof of a greenhouse to consider too! They even (as I had earlier requested) went to each of my neighbouring gardens, to tidy those trees which were overhanging from my side. Those neighbours too, were very pleased with the outcome! I had visits from two other Tree surgeons, in June but I had to contact them as they hadn’t arrived on the appointed day. Their quotes differed, from being much more expensive, to just a little more - and they didn’t email me! I was very impressed and I shall not hesitate in using Mike, at Acer Tree Services, again. Thank you very much!

Trustworthy, efficient and tidy! Excellent tree services
Michael & the team at Acer Tree Services were outstanding. Michael came & reviewed my needs, made good recommendations and offered me his professional advice on the approach to take which I really valued. He could have just done what I asked, but he wanted to understand what I was trying to achieve & offered his best advice. The price was very competitive and I was more than happy to book straight away - but be warned, they are popular and very busy, so I did have to wait 6 weeks (that's the problem with being good!). I chose to follow his recommendation & the Acer team arrived today & I couldn't be happier with the result. They carried out their work with smooth efficiency. I had 4 trees to remove, one of which was very large & overgrown & I was concerned there may be damage to the existing garden/ fence etc. I needn't have worried, it was taken down piece by piece & the garden looks amazing. Aside from tidying their own waste, they cleaned away other garden debris along the way! I would highly recommend the team and if I have any future need, I know who to call. Excellent.

Excellent service and result
Work was to prune and reshape an amelanchier, remove a big, rambling rhododendron and cut back assorted overgrown shrubs along a driveway. Communication before the work began was excellent. The friendly, cheerful team turned up on time, did a lovely job and cleared up efficiently. Price was competetive. Would definitely use again and would recommend.

Great communication, excellent work and very tidy.
Great communication and excellent work carried out by Mike and team. They removed a row of large conifers, ground the stumps and very carefully cleared up after themselves. Great value for the effort put in.

Clean, tidy and very efficient.
Pollarded six poplars and a weeping willow and removal of diseased growth on the willow, all done quickly and without any hassle. Happy and friendly workers who love their teas and coffees to keep them going. 😄 This is the second time I have used their services and will do so again in the future without hesitation. I would happily recommend these lads to anyone needing tree work at a very sensible and realistic cost. The three lads tidy up after themselves as well! 😇😇😇

Oak tree reduction
My wife and I were very satisfied with the work Michael and his team did. They arrived on time, did a very professional job and tidied up everything to a high standard afterwards. We were Particularly impressed with how Michael was concerned to ensure the work did not disturb or upset our neighbours, especially when trimming a tree that extended over the fence. Trimming overhanging tree
Michael and his team trimmed a tree that was overhanging my garden. He took care to ensure that the tree still looked a good shape even though he was only trimming one side of the tree which overhung my garden. He took care to protect the fish pond which was directly below the area he was working upon. All cut branches were removed and the garden left in a tidy state. Very pleased with the quality of the job done and wold highly recommend Acer Tree Services.

Cut back willow tree
Second time we have used Acer to cut back this fast growing willow tree. Both times Acer did an excellent job. Highly recommend as they did exactly what we wanted when trimming the tree, we will definitely use then for a third time.

Tree pruning and removal
Mike and Dan did an excellent professional job, on time and to budget. We needed a dead tree removing, a very large overhanging bough cutting off, and old stumps removed. We can already see the difference and they left everything really neat and tidy. Would definitely recommend them to anyone - Mike is very knowledgeable and prides himself on finding the best solution.

Tree Taken Down
I had a dead tree removed from the front of my house and another tree removed from behind my stables and on both occasions it was a very efficient job. They were very fast and cleared up really well and great to deal with. I am very happy with their service.

Thoroughly Professional.
Michael and his colleague Dan carried out a crown reduction on a large copper beech, work was done expertly and the tree is now appropriately reduced. Additionally he took down and disposed of three conifers as well as grinding the stumps, all done to plan. Highly recommend this business, nice guys who care about the quality of their work and leave the site clear and tidy. Would use them again for sure.

Tree Felling & stump grinding
Needed three large trees felling and the stumps ground. Michael and his team did a great job at a competitive price. The trees were very close to the house and other buildings with restricted access so quite tricky. All work done with minimum fuss and mess and really pleased with the result. While they were here we also had a fourth tree trimmed and once again very happy with the result. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be using them again when we need some more tree works done.
