Settlement cracks, undercoating and glossing of skirting boards, To rake out settlement cracks, fill and emulsion, undercoat and satin wood skirting boards in newly tiled kitchen. Approx 5 days work with a further full property refurb decoration to complete. Property is in Bourne End Maidenhead, must have own vehicle, own tools and decorators whites. This is a high end property so only qualified decorators need apply, Applicants must be prepared to start Tuesday 20th March Good rates paid to the right person Not good i'm afraid. Alan was contracted to complete some settlement snagging, works included raking out cracks in plastered walls and re-glossing door frames etc. Alan had numerous attempts at painting the walls but continually left thin patches, as a result these walls had to be re-painted by myself, the gloss work on the door frames was poor with many runs left, as a result of this all the woodwork needs a complete re-paint. Alan struggled at completing a full days work, his contracted hours were 8.00 until 4.30pm, on a daily basis Alan would begin to pack up at around 3.15pm and be gone by 3.45pm Alan was continually asked not to smoke outside my clients front door as the smoke would drift into the property, he was asked this on many occasions but continued to do it. Alan paid no respect to my clients property and on a daily occasion would leave tea stains on my clients marble worktop and a cup of used tea bags on the side. I ended up removing the tea making facility and asked him to bring his own and make his drinks outside of the property. Alan services are not required further, as a direct result of Alan's performance what should of been a 4 day remedial project ended up taking 12 days and I am still left to rectify the works.
