I needed an Electric Vehicle (EV) charger properly installed and certificated. I contacted the company, on a personal recommendation, and they came out to look at the job and provide a full quote. The company was able to do the job at quite short notice, which was important as I was due to receive the EV imminently. On the day, they arrived on time, with what they needed to complete the installation. They were happy to talk me through the work. Subsequently, they provided full documentation, including the important certification. Most importantly, I can charge my EV!

Have used Alcon on many occasions for over 10 years. They are highly skilled, customer focused and flexible in their approach. They are always timely and very tidy when working. Alcon have carried out the installation of lighting throughout our home and have also tested the entire electrical wiring and carried out remedial work necessary.

I contacted Craig at Alcon regarding an EV charger installed at my place of business in Chalfont St Peter after purchasing an electric vehicle. Both Craig and Adam came to take a look around two days later and priced up the works the next day. They also advised me on what charger to purchase based on experience. I then booked them to complete the works and they came as early as they could which was 3 days later once my EV charger had been delivered. I was very impressed with the efficiency and how quick they came. On the day both Craig, Adam and another electrician came to fit my charger. All the work was done with minimal disruption to my property and care was taken at all times. Craig had an industrial hoover and was constantly hoovering as he went meaning no mess was made. My charger was professionally installed and the guys made sure it was working correctly before they left and help me to set up the app on my phone to control the charger. Alcon Electrical are fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend them: we have used Alcon in our previous properties and when moving to our new house and facing a variety of electrical issues internally Alcon we’re very responsive and able to attend the property within a couple of days. As usual, they provided a clear quote, timeframe for the works and parts and we’re able to fit us in for the works asap. Great recommendations of where to place lighting for maximum effect, what type would work best and totally invisible during daytime - really very pleased with how it all turned out I’m planning on getting them booked in for the electrical installation for a new air conditioning unit soon.

I had a full Electrical Installation Condition Report which was carried out over the entire house. I was informed of the work that needed doing to bring everything up to a satisfactory standard. I felt confident with the work they told me that needed to be done. I needed a new fuse box and various sockets installed and new outside lights. My fuse box is now labelled properly and they explained everything to me. I now know where to go if I need any more work done.

Craig was very helpful, making time in his schedule to help me out with a job (removal of a wall-mounted light fixture) that came up urgently that morning. He did the job quickly and professionally, leaving the wall neatly filled in. Huge thanks and we will be glad to use you guys again :)

Craig and Adam advised and completed a range of works to upgrade our electrics both inside the house and the garden. In addition they installed a charging unit for our Tesla car.
