All work was done and finished to a very high standard. Alex , Gary and Jay were polite, professional, friendly and protected our floors and furniture and cleaned up after the work. They not only fitted the windows and a plant on bay window but also did some plastering , woodwork, painting and leadwork to a very high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

We received very good service from Alex, from start to finish. There were plenty of doors to choose from! He quoted a price and kept us informed of the time frame. The door was fitted and the site left clean and tidy afterwards. Happy to recommend.

Replacement of all windows and doors
All 18 windows and 5 doors (including front and French doors) in my house needed replacement. Alex impressed me immediately with his knowledge and attitude when he came to quote for the work. He offered to move any furniture and alarm sensors out of the way while work was taking place and replace them after finishing. Alex answered all my queries and, shortly after his visit, I received a detailed and very competitive quotation for the work. The installation work commenced within the delivery date promised, and Alex and his two-man team were always "on site" at or before the agreed time of 8 a.m. All three of them carried out their work to the highest standard and were very courteous and pleasant towards me. As promised, they moved my furniture and alarm sensors carefully and always thoroughly cleaned up the room they had been working in. They finished the work well within the time scale quoted, and I had no problems whatsoever with their work or the communication between us. I am extremely happy with the finished job and would have no hesitation in recommending them wholeheartedly to anyone considering this type of work.

I have not used the company before but all previous reviews were very good . We had 2 windows replaced and a front window converted to a bay window. Alex , jay & Gary carried out the work on time , quickly , professionally and to an excellent standard. Successful transformation!
This is the second time I've engaged Alex for window replacement. It was an easy decision based on the previous positive experience. This time round Alex and his colleague swapped an old bow window for a plant-on bay window making a huge difference to our property. Alex was helpful and patient during the design decision-making process and once a date was set for the work, it didn't change. Their work was top notch - from the thorough application of dust sheets and floor protection, care with the old window removal to minimise disruption and the ensuing making-good, to the final touches and clean up at the end. We will be using him again for future jobs that we have planned. Highly recommended!

Alex & his team supplied & fitted 2 Cortizo sliding doors. They removed French doors and a further large window. The work was skilfully completed in a day. Had previously approached other people to undertake a number of jobs to secure windows and doors. The fIrst was only interested in selling security devices and the second created more problems than he solved. Called in Alex on my daughter’s recommendation. Alex recommended some sensible and cost effective solutions to a number of problems including installing a new door. 5* Service from start to finish!
Alex was extremely professional, kind and courteous throughout the whole process. From the initial survey, he took time and care to explain everything in detail and was patient in explaining how windows and door differ. We had 16 windows, a utility room door and front door with Alex. He allowed us to send pictures of windows and doors we liked and he then matched them for us. His team always arrived before the given time and were methodical with their approach to what needed to be completed. They honestly highlighted any snags and were quick to fix any problems that were not their fault. Alex was always available via call or text throughout the process. Highly recommended and we were extremely happy to use a local tradesman.

This is our first time using Alex Dobson Windows. Alex was recommended by a colleague. The quotation for the replacement window frame and extras came very quickly. The lead time to installation was much quicker than we expected. On installation day the team were at our front door exactly at the time agreed. Very friendly and obliging; the job was done quickly, all the debris removed everything cleared away and the debris removed. We will definitely ask Alex again for any future jobs
