Great hard working team

Very pleased with the work Mike and his team carried out on my property. I have used all aspects home improvements before and will no doubt be using them again in future. They came to me 2023 and they knocked out my walls downstairs making it open plan.fitted my new kitchen and appliances all intergrated.plasters my walls,fitted steal supports, new flooring ,moved my electric meter transforming my tiny kitchen and dining room as a new open plan.very Very pleased with it. I contacted them again this year this time to do my bathroom . Mike fitted my entire bathroom suite including wall panels flooring bath and shower toilet blue tooth mirror so happy with it absolutely no mess left behind very clean and tidy they also fitted and supplied me with a comby boiler taking my old tank out of my loft lifting up my wood flooring upstairs and re fitting it excellently they was very fast having all my work completed within a week highly recommended

Incomplete work

Unfortunately I can't recommend All Aspects Home Improvements. We needed a complete bathroom refit, including moving a doorway to fit in a shower. Our preferred plumber couldn't do the building parts of the job, so we thought getting one builder to do everything would be easier. However, this was a mistake. Perhaps the job was more complicated than Mike expected, but we found him to be poor at forward planning and organising, and we frequently felt he wasn't really absorbing instructions and/or communicating properly. The job overran by a month, (he only turned up between about 10am and 3pm), and we weren't happy with the standard of finish of almost every element, so once the bathroom fittings were basically working, we asked him not to complete the final phase (installing cupboards and radiators) and we parted company. In fairness, he didn't ask for payment for the final phase, which is good because it's roughly what we paid for the second contractor to finish. We've now finally had our original plumber back to finish off the job and thankfully found them refreshingly different to Mike and his comedy double act sidekick. I don't think Mike was dishonest or incompetent but attention to detail really didn't seem to be his thing.

Very responsive service

I had a small but awkward job fixing a panel on the outside of the house. Mike was super helpful from the start and responded quickly with a quote once I sent him pictures of the job. He was flexible when we changed the spec slightly and was able to come to the house and do the fix within a few days. Communication was quick and clear throughout. Would use Mike and the team again without hesitation.

Five Star Service

My fridge freezer began leaking, so I urgently needed plumber. I contacted “All Aspects Home Improvements” I spoke to a gentleman called Mike McDonagh who explained the costs and how and when it could be done. Job was quickly completed with amazing fast service. I cannot recommend Mike and his team highly enough. Excellent five star service

Cheerful and honest

We obtained quotes from 3 different contractors to reroof our property as well as replace 2 windows, guttering, downpipes etc. Mike and his team came across as honest, cheerful and knowledgeable, immediately put us at ease and stood out. Mike, Warren and Chris went out of their way to ensure that everything we asked of them was done to a high standard, and even went out of their way by helping us to repaint the render on the upper level whilst the scaffolding was in place. Definitely recommend Mike and his team and will be using their services again!

Cheerful team tackling a range of jobs.

This small family firm is perfect for the mixed bunch of jobs we've needed to keep us warm and dry in our elderly house as we get older. Whether fixing a leaky roof gully, replacing a flat garage roof, or changing a broken plug socket they get it done. We're going to get them to paint/decorate outside and then in and probably to refit the kitchen. Currently we're looking for all those jobs that need, or will soon need doing, to ask them to do. Having found a team we like, and more importantly trust, we want to keep them on task before they get too big or upmarket for us.

Re-Slate

Contacted allapspectshomeimprovements because the slates on my roof were slipping all over the place Mike and his team did a complete re-slate and repointed all ridges and replaced all existing lead work with new including full chimney refurbishment they also done the the same on my in-laws house next door we are both extremely happy with all the work carried out and will definitely use All Aspects Home Improvements again.Highly recommended

Mike McDonagh was extremely helpful as I was unable to be present for the planning and remodelling of kitchen, so done via whats app.He was thoughtful, helpful and did more than asked within the quote. Efficient, reliable and trustworthy.Excellent team too.

Mike was clear about how he works and charges. Very reassuring. He's fixed the problem quickly, and within the call out fee, and happy to explain things every step of the way. I'm very pleased, and have asked him to carry out other work. Honest, considerate and skilled.

Strange behaviour and lack of knowledge

Strange behaviour. I asked about a standard underfloor insulation work and the trader on phone seemed completely unaware that anything like that could even be done for a house and insisted that I should mean a loft insulation. When I told that this is about underfloor insulation and not loft, the response was "okay, I leave you with that" and hung up the phone.

Prompt response, Punctual, Knowledgeable,

I called Mike about a leaking roof problem. He and a colleague arrived at the agreed time the same day, Mike got onto the roof, reviewed and diagnosed the problem. He took photos to show me the problem, and explained it clearly, and what needed to be done to solve it. Extra lead flashing was needed, so he arranged a convenient day later in the week to return and fix the problem. I'm looking to their next visit on Saturdaymorning. As they gave me confidence that the work would be done well, at a reasonable price, I have also asked them to fix some leaking gutters.

Mike and the team are a lovely bunch of guys who just do what they promise Our kitchen was not an easy job (old house) but they worked through the issues and have done a great job. Happy to recommend them and will get them back for other jobs

excellent job

All Aspects Home Improvements replaced some windows for us. It wasn't a big job but needed care as this is an older house. We chose them because we had noticed the super job they had done next door. Options were discussed and we received a good explanation of what was needed and why. We were also warned about possible extra hitches that could occur but which could not be costed until the work had begun. In the end, there were no additional costs and the original estimate stood. The job was completed with attention to detail and I felt it was high quality workmanship. They were very helpful, left the place clean and tidy and there was great communication throughout about timing of work etc. Would certainly use again.
