Our ERA lock was broken and jammed shut. ASH freed the broken lock, removed it and replaced it with the ERA® BS3621:2007 Double Locking Nightlatch. Very prompt. Good fast workmanship. Nice chap.

After telephoning this morning the call was answered directly and he offered hope to sorting my patio door lock. He called about an hour after and indeed solved the lock problem. He was very efficient and I am very pleased with the outcome. I would certainly recommend him and call on him again if needed.

The lock on our tenant's front door fell off in his hands so we needed a Locksmith to attend and fix the problem quickly. Peter gave a competitive quote and was able to fix the problem the following day.

Well deserved high rating
We had a problem with the lock on the back door to the kitchen -- not urgent but a considerable nuisance. Peter arrived within half an hour, took the lock apart, identified the problem, found the worn-out part in his van and replaced it. Not being satisfied with that, he also found the reason for excessive wear of the part in question (a slight misalignment of the lock with the door frame), explained it to me and fixed the problem on the spot. All of that in a courteous, friendly and professional manner -- couldn't ask for a better service. Not cheap, but you get what you paid for. We'll know where to go next time we are in need of a locksmith!

Scott responded very quickly to our request for new locks for our new home and was very accommodating. He listened to what we wanted and gave us options. He provided a clear quote. He returned to do the work promptly and did a great job, even fixing a couple of other issues on his own accord. We would definitely recommend him and use him again.

I contacted Secure Homes to fix three different lock problems, none of which were urgent but needed attending too. Scott responded quickly to my email and was flexible in when he was able to carry out the work to fit around my work schedules. The work was carried out to a very high standard and where different options were available, these were clearly explained. The over cost for the work was competitive and I feel I have good value for money. I would highly recommend as an established family business, who care about the service they provide. Needed a front door fixed as the handle had come loose , phoned in the morning , they came around as promised a couple of hours later. Even though he said he was very busy he also fixed an additional problem i had on a patio door and both have worked perfectly since. He would not leave until everything worked perfectly and the price of the work was very reasonable.

We had a key stuck in a lock and I called All Secure Homes after 5:30pm and left a message. I got a call back immediately and the locksmith arrived about 30 minutes later - unbelievable service, especially as it was non urgent! Very friendly, professional and reasonably priced - definitely recommended.

Mr Holmes came to my home within 24 hours of my telephone call to give me a free estimate to repair/replace my front door lock. He didn't carry the handle colour I wanted so he replaced the lock and gave me a temporary one to use until the one he ordered arrived. I needed more than the two keys the lock was supplied with so he went to his home and cut me additional keys and I had those within the hour. He returned a few days later and fitted the new handle. Mr Holmes cleaned up any mess he made and was very considerate in his approach even trying to work as quietly as he could as I had a baby asleep. All this was supplied for a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended

Hello, I'm Peter, I started Secure Homes Locksmiths in 1978 after learning my trade with a local locksmith company, since those early days we have become a very well respected local company with a good reputation for excellent work at fair and reasonable prices. My Son Scott joined the company in the year 2000, so we are now a true Father and Son family business. We cover all aspects of lock work, from fitting locks to doors and windows to a standard that satisfies insurance companies, we have a mobile key cutting service, so we can always provide the key quantity that you require, we open locks that are either faulty or if you have locked yourself out, we service, or replace if necessary all UPVC door and window locks, we supply and install all types of safes, we replace garage door locks and also upgrade the overall security of the garage door with additional locks if required. We offer a full locksmith service to letting agents and have many on our books already, communal entrance door locks etc.
