Alpal Electrical did the job very quickly, very professionally and for a very competitive price. I had already started looking for a new electrician, now I found one!

Fantastic job completed swiftly and professionally. Only days after my enquiry, the job had been assessed, quoted and completed, which was really brilliant customer service. We originally asked for an outside socket to be installed but upon investigation this wasn’t possible. This was communicated clearly and the alternative box was fitted quickly, as well as the final bill being amended. Thanks!

I recently brought a project : 3 bed semi detached, 1930s - which had cables and dodgy electrics from over 40 years ago. Alex and Will rewired the entire house and added spotlights, new sockets, fuse board, safety checks in less than 3 days. Not only that, they gave me advice for the new kitchen installation and plumber as an extra! The house was left spotless and they kept me up-to-date daily whilst I was away. I won’t work with any other electrician again.

Electrical work in homes in England & Wales should be done by a registered competent person who can self-certify it meets the Part P safety rules. Check they're on the official register.

Check the electrical register
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations. Confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done. It is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
