“My roof was damaged during the storms. The chimney was damaged along with tiles becoming loose and damaged. I contacted a number of companies and AMPM were able to come out quickly to assess the damage and provide a quotation. I was really happy with the quote provided and asked to proceed. AMPM were able to start the work very quickly and completed it to a fantastic standard. Both before the work was started and whilst the work was being done I was kept up to date with exactly what was happening and how things were progressing. I am delighted with the service received and the quality of the work. I would happily contact AMPM for any future work I may need doing.”
“We wanted out garden re-landscaping with new decking, patio and lawn. The project involved substantial electrical works for external appliances including a hot tub. AMPM quoted for the works and were competitive and seemed to have the best understanding of what was required. Their input and design hints were taken on board and worked well. We were very satisfied with the performance and finished result.”
“1. Dismantled wood burning stove, removed plaster and injected with damp proofing, tanked, replastered, painted and reassembled fire. 2. Understairs larder: Ripped out and removed shelves, skirting boards and floating floor, fixed floor, fixed floor to sub base and created air vents, overboarded and skimmed cupboard area, painted, decorated and fitted sh shelving. 3. Painted bathroom ceiling. 4. Bedroom window: 1 inch plastic surrounding the whole window and sealed in chalk, fitted new windowsill. All the work was carried out efficiently and diligently, with plenty of consultation with me and my wife. The staff worked hard throughout, we were offered suggestions as to best solutions (not necessarily ones which were advantageous to the company in terms of giving them most work), and a great deal of ingenuity was displayed in converting a cramped, rather unpleasant understairs space into a bright, welcoming room with excellent use of space. We won't hesitate to use Steven and his company again if and when we need any further building or decorating work to be done.”

A great company to deal with
We recently had a damp proof course installed and we couldn't be happier with the service we received with AMPM property maintenance. The communication with Stephen from the initial contact through to job completion was excellent. His quote and advice were clear and I never felt under pressure to be upsold. Stephen was very accommodating of us doing some of the messy work ourselves and using our own contractors for the electrics but gave excellent recommendations when we asked for them. The quote was really clear allowing us to make decisions about what to include in the works. Stephen sold his business on its own merits rather than slating other companies which is often what you get in this industry. The price of the work was excellent value for the quality of the work. Cameron who completed the work was possibly the world's best builder. Polite, friendly, quick, CLEAN and completed everything to a really high quality finish. We came home the first night expecting to have to spend hours cleaning up but Cameron had even mopped himself out. The job was completed exactly to time, exactly on budget and to a really high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend AMPM property maintenance for any job. If we need any more work doing in the future we will definitely use Stephen and the team.

Excellent customer service
Last year we first used Ampm for our kitchen installation and were so impressed that we didn’t hesitate to have them back this year to fit our bathroom. Once again, the quality of workmanship has been absolutely outstanding. Everything was finished to a very high standard, with great attention to detail, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. We are genuinely over the moon with the final result and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for top-quality work and a reliable, professional service.

Damp problem solved
What, to a layman, looked like a horrendous undertaking, was solved with a smile and great sense of humour but more importantly absolute professionalism and respect by Steven and his team. The chimney was tanked, the walls re-plastered and everything including bookshelves and early 20th century skirting boards were replaced to perfection. What struck me most about this team was their cleanliness and transparency in their communication. The plasterer who belonged to Steven‘s team even accommodated my working hours and arrived especially early. I can recommend this company without any reservations and am happy to have found craftsmen of an honest nature! Thank you!

Great work and fast
I had some serious concerns at home when I noticed water stains on the walls and ceiling, and mould kept coming back. Luckily, I contacted Ampm Property Maintenance, and they were amazing from start to finish! Steven replied to my email promptly and arranged an initial inspection the very next day. On the spot, Steven gave me a clear preliminary suggestion. The day after, he sent a plumber to check for any leaks, and he also provided a quick proposal. By the following week, an electrician was scheduled to carry out improvement work. What really impressed me — apart from their efficiency — was their honesty. They didn’t try to upsell or push us to do anything unnecessary. Instead, they focused on identifying the real issue and solving it in the most practical and cost-effective way. No gimmicks, no extra charges — just genuine service and solid advice. Everyone involved was professional, polite, efficient, and tidy. I’m really grateful for how smoothly everything was handled. If we ever have any issues at home again, I’ll definitely reach out to them — and I’ll be recommending them to all my friends too!

A Great Start - with much more to be carried out
We have lived in the property for over 35 years, and have not been generally been impressed with the odd maintenance work that we have needed to carry out - until now. We engaged AMPM Property Maintenance to initially carry out full redecoration of the complete property, one room at a time whilst the property was occupied, but also needed them to carry out all furniture moving to carry this out. They acted with a high degree of professionalism from the start and are easy to work with. From the start, we found that there were a couple of serious issues, the most pressing was rising damp in the dining room (that we had treated over 35 years ago) but was now very serious. This required the room to be gutted and the floor and joists to be replaced. The work was carried out to a high level of quality and completed before Christmas. The room looks great! We are now moving on with the full house decorations and fixing a problem with the roof caused by some shoddy work carried out 10 years ago by a, now bankrupt builder.

Quality bathroom renovation
Steven A and his team recently completed a major bathroom renovation and upgrade with considerable functionality change for us and we are delighted with the outcome. The team did an amazing job including a full wet room conversion with underfloor heating, concealed lighting, wall-hung toilet, rebated niche shelves and ceiling rain shower head. The overall attention to detail was top notch inclusive of some of the best tiling I've seen in a long time. I can thoroughly recommend Steven and team if you want a superior quality job.

Another High Recommendation
Since posting last year’s review after AM-PM renewed our roof, we did indeed come back for more. Steve managed a team of workmen to provide new flooring, insulation and access to our attic, which also involved extensive rewiring and plastering of upstairs rooms, and updating radiators to become more energy efficient. Again, Steve coordinated a team of plasterers, plumbers, electricians and decorators flawlessly, regularly coming to check that all was in order, discuss and agree future work, and discuss the best ways forward. All his team were friendly and easy to get on with, and tidied up after themselves to make the process as undisruptive as possible. Again, delighted with Steve from AM-PM, and cannot recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic
I live abroad and totally relied on Steve for a full renovation of a 1 bedroom flat. The quality of work is superb and the communication throughout the job was 100%. High Recommendation
We cannot praise AM-PM highly enough. After a distressing experience with another tradesman, Steve restored our confidence and faith. His team have undertaken extensive work at two properties providing new tiled roofing and flat roof renovation, chimney reinforcement, guttering, porch demolition, new decking, rendering and painting. Throughout the process, Steve has been a mine of information on best practices and options, helping us to decide on the right way forward together. He is always immediately contactable and responsive. We have found Steve and Shaun, who we have seen regularly during our re-roofing, trustworthy and communicative, and a delight to work with and have around. Jobs have been executed professionally and within agreed timescales and quotations, and cleared up after completion. Proof of our satisfaction is that we have come back for more. We have asked Steve to provide new flooring, insulation and access to our attic, and to discuss garden improvements. We recommend Steve and AM-PM without any reservations, and have not hesitated to have AM-PM as our first port of call for future work that needs doing.

Refurbishment of house
I cannot recommend Steve and Lee rom AMPM highly enough, for the work they've undertaken, to completely transform my mother's house. Communication was excellent at all times and all deadlines were met. I felt the price was fair and workmanship of a very high standard. Nothing was too much for AMPM and today we have a beautiful new kitchen, French doors leading onto the patio garden, a more accessible bathroom suite and beautifully carpeted throughout I would not hesitate in recommending Steve and his team, to my friends and family.
