AMPM Property Maintenance

My roof was damaged during the storms. The chimney was damaged along with tiles becoming loose and damaged. I contacted a number of companies and AMPM were able to come out quickly to assess the damage and provide a quotation. I was really happy with the quote provided and asked to proceed. AMPM were able to start the work very quickly and completed it to a fantastic standard. Both before the work was started and whilst the work was being done I was kept up to date with exactly what was happening and how things were progressing. I am delighted with the service received and the quality of the work. I would happily contact AMPM for any future work I may need doing.

We wanted out garden re-landscaping with new decking, patio and lawn. The project involved substantial electrical works for external appliances including a hot tub. AMPM quoted for the works and were competitive and seemed to have the best understanding of what was required. Their input and design hints were taken on board and worked well. We were very satisfied with the performance and finished result.

1. Dismantled wood burning stove, removed plaster and injected with damp proofing, tanked, replastered, painted and reassembled fire. 2. Understairs larder: Ripped out and removed shelves, skirting boards and floating floor, fixed floor, fixed floor to sub base and created air vents, overboarded and skimmed cupboard area, painted, decorated and fitted sh shelving. 3. Painted bathroom ceiling. 4. Bedroom window: 1 inch plastic surrounding the whole window and sealed in chalk, fitted new windowsill. All the work was carried out efficiently and diligently, with plenty of consultation with me and my wife. The staff worked hard throughout, we were offered suggestions as to best solutions (not necessarily ones which were advantageous to the company in terms of giving them most work), and a great deal of ingenuity was displayed in converting a cramped, rather unpleasant understairs space into a bright, welcoming room with excellent use of space. We won't hesitate to use Steven and his company again if and when we need any further building or decorating work to be done.

Full roof replacement. Great service from first phone call requesting a quote to completing the job. On site putting up scaffolding within a week. Always at the end of the phone with any queries & on site. Very pleased with the work that has been done & very reasonably priced. Highly recommend this company. Thanks Steven & Steve.

I cannot recommend Steve and Lee rom AMPM highly enough, for the work they've undertaken, to completely transform my mother's house. Communication was excellent at all times and all deadlines were met. I felt the price was fair and workmanship of a very high standard. Nothing was too much for AMPM and today we have a beautiful new kitchen, French doors leading onto the patio garden, a more accessible bathroom suite and beautifully carpeted throughout I would not hesitate in recommending Steve and his team, to my friends and family.

We cannot praise AM-PM highly enough. After a distressing experience with another tradesman, Steve restored our confidence and faith. His team have undertaken extensive work at two properties providing new tiled roofing and flat roof renovation, chimney reinforcement, guttering, porch demolition, new decking, rendering and painting. Throughout the process, Steve has been a mine of information on best practices and options, helping us to decide on the right way forward together. He is always immediately contactable and responsive. We have found Steve and Shaun, who we have seen regularly during our re-roofing, trustworthy and communicative, and a delight to work with and have around. Jobs have been executed professionally and within agreed timescales and quotations, and cleared up after completion. Proof of our satisfaction is that we have come back for more. We have asked Steve to provide new flooring, insulation and access to our attic, and to discuss garden improvements. We recommend Steve and AM-PM without any reservations, and have not hesitated to have AM-PM as our first port of call for future work that needs doing.

I live abroad and totally relied on Steve for a full renovation of a 1 bedroom flat. The quality of work is superb and the communication throughout the job was 100%. Updates and photos were provided throughout. Steve also called if there were any issued and always offered several practical solutions. Totally trustworthy and a high standard of work. Very happy.

Since posting last year’s review after AM-PM renewed our roof, we did indeed come back for more. Steve managed a team of workmen to provide new flooring, insulation and access to our attic, which also involved extensive rewiring and plastering of upstairs rooms, and updating radiators to become more energy efficient. Again, Steve coordinated a team of plasterers, plumbers, electricians and decorators flawlessly, regularly coming to check that all was in order, discuss and agree future work, and discuss the best ways forward. All his team were friendly and easy to get on with, and tidied up after themselves to make the process as undisruptive as possible. Again, delighted with Steve from AM-PM, and cannot recommend him highly enough.
