Fantastic, thorough, and highly competitive pricing
Amy and her team did a big electrical job for our house renovation. From start to finish Amy and her colleagues were fantastic! The quality of the work was very high and everyone was helpful, diligent, and professional. Everyone who worked on the property was passionate and took pride in their line of work. When Amy first came round to take a look and she talked me through what needed to be done and why. Her level of knowledge was obviously a level above the other 2 companies who provided quotes and it's why I chose her. Her quote was reasonable and highly competitive. I have recommended Amy to family and friends and I would not hesitate to hire her for future projects.

Phenomenal work efficiently done
Amy and Katie from Amy’s electrics were phenomenal yesterday in their electrical work and efficiency with a friendly face for a first time hire out by myself. Amy and Katie put up three new light fixtures and ceiling roses with great speed and accuracy. They offered great advice which was much appreciated as this was the first time I had contracted any electrical work to be done. This was quality work done well and quickly. Amy was great about liaising with me prior to arranging a time and showed up promptly. I would very much recommend people to contract Amy’s and I will be a repeat customer for any further work. Saved us from a £4,000+ unnecessary job – exceptional electrician
Amy was absolutely outstanding. We had been left without power to key parts of the house following a previous contractor’s visit and were told we needed a full consumer unit replacement at a cost of over £4,000. Amy came in to provide a second opinion and quickly identified that the issue was far simpler – a loose termination causing localised overheating. She clearly explained what was actually wrong (and what wasn’t), which immediately gave us confidence. She carried out the necessary repairs, testing and reinstatement within around 2.5 hours, restoring power safely and avoiding completely unnecessary work. The total cost was a fraction of what we had been quoted elsewhere. What really stood out was her professionalism, clarity, and integrity. She took the time to explain everything properly and provided a detailed written report afterwards, which ultimately helped us secure a refund from the original contractor. If you want an electrician who is knowledgeable, honest, and won’t recommend unnecessary work, I would highly recommend Amy.

Very skilled, adaptable and courteous
Amy and her team of very skilled, adaptable and courteous electricians, took on the challenge during our renovation, of replacing numerous plugs and light switches; the fitting of spotlights, wall lights and pendant lights and chasing in the plaster to relocate or add some wiring. The consumer unit was also worked upon and NICEIC tested. As well as the work being done to a very high standard, the team were really amazing at working with or around other trades, anticipating what was needed or doing any follow-up work. The communication was excellent throughout, which made the varied and intricate work go according to plan and very smoothly. Thank you.

Shane and Sully from Amy’s Electrics were two men who came to replace my ancient fuse box which was in a cupboard. They arrived on time and were professional in every way. It was a big task which they accomplished with good humour and far less noise than I had expected. They checked every socket in my home and also suggested a new extractor fan in the bathroom which was needed and they provided. They also explained to me how the fuse box worked. When they had finished they tidied up all trace of the work done. The cost was as expected from what had been suggested to me by the company prior to booking. I would recommend these people without hesitation.

Amy's Electric's came recommended to us by friends and will be our go to now if we need any jobs doing in the future. Communication was quick and smooth prior to the appointment. Work was carried out at the agreed time, efficiently and safely (and with good advice on what would look best). Pricing was clear (and their website has useful info on what to expect for each kind of job, which I found reassuring). Also a real bonus for us to be using a woman owned service. Great service and saved me money
I asked Amy to quote for fitting an isolation circuit after my old oven broke, as an appliance vendor assured me that all new ovens required this. Amy pointed out this would be quite disruptive if I wasn't refurbishing the kitchen, told me what to look for to find an oven that would work on the existing circuit, and then ok'd my choice before I ordered it, even though it meant a much smaller job for her team. Great communication throughout. Katie, who did the actual work, was lovely to deal with. Would happily use again, totally recommend.

Excellent experience
I called Amy after something dodgy seemed to be happening with my fuse box and got lucky as she was able to get to my flat in the next couple of hours - she found the fault very quickly, fixed it and explained everything she was doing which was really helpful. A really great experience overall, I'll certainly be giving her a call for any future electrical problems!

Honest, reliable, efficient
I couldn’t be happier with the work that Amy’s team carried out. We had quite an unusual setup, but they identified problems quickly and had multiple solutions and brought us in at every step to give their recommendation, but let us have the final decision. They had all the tools/parts with them, so no need to go off-site to get parts during the day. And I really appreciated that Amy had the flexibility to fit in other small jobs on the day to tie up all our loose ends, so we actually got more completed than initially anticipated. When they reconfigured our setup, they made everything more intuitive and logical, fixing errors that we’d been living with. They were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt in safe hands and that they had our best interests at heart at all times. Also offered advice but didn’t push upsells. Would have no hesitations in recommending them and would definitely use them again.

I couldn't ask for more
I very rarely write reviews but everything was right. Katie was friendly, polite, helpful, efficient and professional. As mentioned by a previous review, there was no dissapearing to the cafe for an hour under the pretext of obtaining a new part. We asked that the EICR certificate be sent quickly and it arrived next morning and the charge to us was very reasonable

Great job!
Amy and her colleague were lovely people who did a great job. We will most definitely use them again. One of the best things … they had all the tools and parts they needed on their van on the day, including a new light switch that exactly matched the ones we already have. So many traders come to the house and then tell you they have to take time out to go to a builders’ merchant or similar, or order a part - and that can take ages. So refreshing to get the job done properly and quickly in the space of less than an hour! Thanks Amy!
