We have been using Mark & Dave since 2016 for our painting and decorating and cannot recommend them highly enough. This time they painted the exterior of our house including all the woodwork and it looks fantastic. They arranged scaffolding and managed to get the work done quickly despite the dreadful weather at times! Their calm manner, attention to detail, professionalism and tidiness make them a pleasure to have around which isn't always the case when you are having work done on the house! Thanks again Mark & Dave!!
Dave and Mark have completely redecorated the inside of our house over the last 6 months. They have been really lovely to have around, done a great job and have been very helpful and tidy. I would happily recommend them.

Dave and Mark did a great job painting my living room / blocking water stains on my kitchen ceiling and painting my front door. They arrived promptly and ensured all surfaces were fully covered before beginning work. They were polite and friendly and at the end of each day they left the room clean and tidy. I would highly recommend them.
Mark and Dave were on time each day, kept us abreast of what they were doing, and when at all times. They were friendly, polite, and did an excellent job of painting the exterior of our house. Their cost was very competitive and delivered excellent value for money. I would recommend Ashdown Decorators, and would certainly use them again.

A friend recommended Dave to me at a time when I was seeking a few quotes for decorating in different places. I am so pleased with the choice I made. The process went smoothly and calmly without any fuss and the end result is absolutely beautiful. I feel like I have a new house! Grateful to Dave and Mark for taking care of my home and giving me useful tips and advice along the way. Definitely a safe set of hands for any painting and decorating needs. Would definitely recommend without reservation.
This is the second job we have had done. Previous painting was great! This time we had a tricky room with lots of challenges that was papered beautifully in one day. Always polite and tidy, thank you.

Mark & Dave Ashdown did an excellent job of painting the kitchen & porch. They were punctual, tidy and are very skilful painters and decorators. In particular they volunteered to do extra work on other areas (repainting a window, for example) which was not in the estimate. i would recommend them to anyone.

Great team of Mark, Dave and Dean. Job involved painting all the walls and windows. Always prompt 8.00 am start and you get a full day's work. We are very pleased with the quality of the work, and were impressed by both the preparation and finish. Very happy to recommend Ashdown decorating.
After being let down by another company I contacted Mark who did a very professional job of decorating my room. He explained exactly what he was going to do and got on with it leaving a perfect finish. He was polite, punctual and tidy and I would certainly use him again. I would recommend him highly.
We have used Mark (and his brother Dave) for the past 7 years and wouldn’t consider using anyone else. During this time they have decorated multiple rooms inside and our exterior sash windows. They are always punctual, super efficient in the way they work and they always leave the rooms clean and tidy, both during and after they have finished. We are always really pleased with the quality of their work and have already pencilled them in for the next room 😀
Helpful, friendly and very competitive! Have now used mark and his team on 2 occasions and each time the standard has been exceptionally high! Always prompt with attendance! Even helped moving the furniture around due to health issues, nothing was too much for them! Rooms left spotless after works undertaken! Would definitely recommend them and reuse them for future work!
This was the first time I had used Ashdown Decorators for a job. Dave was recommended by a friend and he didn’t disappoint. He arrived when he said he would, explained what he was going to do and did it to a very high standard - what more could you want! In preparing the room for painting we had created a rather large hole in the plaster but Dave just got on and dealt with it without making a big deal. Suffice to say I have asked him to quote for a bigger job and he is booked to come back to decorate another room very soon. All in all a very positive experience. Thank you Dave.
