Professional and Efficient
This is the second time I have sought this company’s advice regarding roof work. On both occasions they have been thoroughly professional and efficient providing advice and quotes in a timely manner coupled with explanations as to the nature of the work required. The work is conducted on the days and times agreed in advance and the contractors clearly understand what has been agreed. I would highly recommend Ashton Roofers.

Sealing flat garage roof with protective polymer
We have used this Company previously and have found them to be excellent. Communication with Patrick in the office is first class, quite a rarity these days. Dan and his team arrive when they say they will and are polite and accommodating. They do a really brilliant job to a high standard and leave the area clean and tidy. I would 100% recommend them and it feels good to know you have found a reliable tradesperson!

Full reroof completed to excellent standard
I would highly recommend Ashton Roofing to anyone considering roof work. The company have just completed a reroof of my property following a disaster with another contractor. From completing an inspection report, patching my roof while waiting for the start day the communication has been excellent from the office and all the contractors. The job was completed to an excellent standard I am so happy with the finished results. The team have done a great job and can’t thank them enough.

Highly recommended
We have had a new roof. The work was commenced on time and completed within 3 days. The scaffolding and skip were delivered and collected within a week. The work is of a high standard. Communication was seamless. The company workforce were polite and respectful. An excellent service.

Excellent work
Two jobs needed to be done: Porch roof repair - Ashton Roofing came to assess the job promptly, quote emailed next day, on our acceptance a start date/time settled. The work was done on time, efficiently & all waste removed. All in a friendly though professional manner, took time to explain what they were doing & why. Based on this we asked them to assess our gutters. Guttering problem - Again same process: quick & efficient. Arrived on time, completed a very satisfactory job with an excellent clean up on completion. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ashton Roofing.

Chimney and gutter
Had chimney lead work done and a bonding gutter put in, they guys arrived on time and got stuck in straight away. They only had a break for lunch and said they would have it done know matter how long it took. They finished it at about 5-30 pm. Pictures were sent to me and everything looks great. Because it’s just been done I can’t actually say it is perfect now because I am waiting for my bedroom chimney wall to dry out, but like I said the two guys worked so hard and professionally that I don’t expect any problems. I would like to say a big thanks to Dan because he knew how bad it was and got it done the day after I asked his m to do it. Brilliant work and all nice guys. I will not hesitate to use them again and give them a ten out of ten.

I have recently used Ashton Roofing for repair work to my roof and kitchen gutter after searching on Which Trusted Traders. They arrived when they said they would (always a plus in my books) and any issues which cropped up were dealt with quickly and satisfactorily (another plus). I would recommend this company.

Chimney & gutter repair.
I had contacted two other roofing companies without a reply before phoning Ashton Roofing & Building. Patrick answered my phone call and within minutes of describing a problem with my chimney and gutter he already knew the remedy. He sent someone to survey the problem the very next day and a date was sorted for the work. The team turned up on time, built scaffold tower and did an excellent job. A very professional and prompt service, as a tradesman myself (electrician) I highly recommended this company.

Exceptional and pleasure doing business
Professional at all times, respected our property in terms of mess not only cleaning as they go but also cleaned up at the end of every day so we still had a liveable condition rather than a building site. The team/ lads did not hang about, they grafted from the second they arrived to second they left. Exceptionally happy with the work done and we was kept informed of details/ progress before the work even began. No hidden surprises within the price and everything was above board. Hassle free flat roof repairs x2.
Ashton Roofing successfully replaced leaking flat roofs over the bay windows at front of my house in March 2024. I had no hesitation in recalling them for similar repairs at the rear of house following storm Lilian 7 months later(November 2024). So far, both repairs have withstood the test of time. Communication with the team was excellent - from first contact & throughout the work in progress. During their 2nd visit they also cleared my gutters, fixed wobbling downpipes, and repositioned hedgehog segments in the gutters. The roofers arrived promptly & on completion, they cleaned up completely. I highly recommend Ashton Roofing & Building Construction Ltd.

Flat roof replacement
Quote supplied by Dan who detailed work to be done and materials to be used. Roof then replaced over two days by team from Ashton roofing, arrived on time, explained work to be carried out, got on with the job and left everything clean and tidy. Price paid was as quoted. I have used this company several times and always find them to be knowledgeable, reliable, punctual and polite, I definitely recommend them.

Great work arrived on time and did a professional job
I had my veloux windows replaced. The team from Ashton roofing were pleasant friendly and they work very tidy. The old windows and any rubbish was taken away. I would use Ashton roofing in future if i needed work done on my roof.

Re-roofing project 2024
From first contact, I found Dan to be friendly, knowledgeable, professional and customer-focussed. The finished roof was top-class and Dan recommended a colour of tile that really suited our house and blended well with our neighbour’s roof colour. Work started on the indicated date and the roof was finished within the week. There was a small hiccup in getting the skip delivered and removed but this was mainly down to the skip hire company. The crew were friendly, conscientious and cleaned up at the end of the day. Ashton Roofing complies with the requirements of our local authority regarding loft insulation and the level of insulation in place. One negative to this was a little confusion over the all-in price at the time of signing the contract and at payment time. The overall cost was a little higher than I envisaged when starting this project but there is no doubting the quality that I have received. I would definitely use Ashton Roofing again and would recommend their services to other customers

Velux skylight window
Contacted Ashton Roofing in May 2024, had date agreed within a few days of Dan having a look at what we wanted. Arrived promptly and the communication was excellent. The fitter worked almost non stop and we were very pleased with our new window - looks amazing. Would definitely recommend Ashton Roofing to anyone in need of this kind of work.

Top-Notch Chimney Repair - Great Communication, Fair Price!
I recently had Ashton Roofing repoint my chimney and fix some lead flashing issues. I can't recommend them enough! From the very beginning, communication was excellent. They were always easy to reach by phone and email, and they answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. The two workers who arrived on the job site were punctual and professional. They completed the work exactly as scheduled and to a very high standard. We're really happy with the final result! On top of the great service, the price was very reasonable. They were definitely competitive with other quotes we received. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Ashton Roofing

New Roof Installation
I am highly delighted with the work undertaken by this company, namely a new roof, facia, gutterings and downspouts. When they came out to provide a quote they were extremely helpful and gave me a written contract that outlined all of the work we had agreed on, it was detailed and thorough and they came on the agreed date to commence the work, subject to weather conditions - that was the only proviso listed in the contract at the time of writing it. All of the men that came out to remove and install all of the items listed in the contract, were really professional, good and nothing was too much trouble for them to do. The work was checked regularly by the managers of the company and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have them install any of the items listed in this review. A great big thank you to everyone involved and well done Ashton Roofing of Dukinfield.

Total re-roof of house and shed
Fully satisfied with the professionalism of the company from start to finish. Always someone available in office for any questions. We were involved in the planning. Installation was on time. The team were friendly, hard working and no bother. Cleared up at the end of each day. Despite the necessary hammering on the rafters and installation of required insulation in attic, there was no damage to any interior decoration in the house. The roof looks first class now. I recommend Ashton Roofing.
